   The food and drinks were excellent, the menu was intriguing, if also a bit boldly priced, and the service was phenomenal. The music was so loud that we weren’t able to enjoy normal dinner conversation at all and we could barely hear the server. A better aural atmosphere would’ve set our experience over the top.

   Server was incredible and very personable. Food is delicious and interior design is thoughtfully done. Our biggest qualm is pricing. Maybe the high prices are deterring people from coming - it felt a little empty for a Friday. If it were slightly more affordable, we would be regular customers! At current prices, it’s hard to make it a regular stop. We recently moved back to NWA and were surprised to see prices exceeding what we’d see in an Austin restaurant. A couple examples: the pork loin at $36 made sense at $24 after having it. The okonomiyaki $24 (fish pancake) was so tasty but huuuuge - should’ve had a small and a large size (small $16 serve 2 people, large $24 serves 4-6). All seemed like they could’ve come down $5-10 to entice guests to order more.

   We have been here before and it was absolutely great. Unfortunately, our experience this time was so bad we were embarrassed that took our friends out to dinner here. The Japanese inspired dishes we had were undercooked and bordering on inedible. The salmon was alright and the burger was also alright but nothing impressive. We are not sure what has changed since our last visit, but this time was nothing like our first.

   Great overall experience and perfect for a date night or special occasion. The staff were all very friendly and well educated about the food and drink offerings. Food was delicious!

   Favorite restaurant in NWA! The food is five stars while still affordable. Everything is done with creativity and intention. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. And the manager is unreasonably hospitable… she made us feel like family from the moment we walked in! We have basically made it a second home. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

    An incredible experience and a thoroughly surprising one. Chef Roger’s “Hail Fellow Well Met” is a sensation that will no doubt be a jewel in the crown of the North West Arkansas Area. It is now a point of pride to take people to such an exquisite restaurant one that can compete and perhaps excel farther than any in the area or even surrounding states. The food is simple in its presentation and dazzlingly complicated bite after bite. The pork croquette had a texture similar to 肉鬆 with a taste of Korean spicy chili paste paired with the perfect balance of avocado. The masa dip was far too sweet and had almost the taste of bile however the chips it was served with were exceptional. The entrees were flawless especially the vegetarian ones—I would say the vegetarian ones outshined all others— and the desserts were shockingly good. Modern restaurants of course neglect dessert entirely resulting in a rather mediocre experience but HFWM has outpaced and outshined even some of the best patisseries and creameries. The service was exceedingly slow taking well over 20 minutes to receive even a round of drinks and the kitchens expediting has a bit to be desired taking almost 30 minutes between courses. But it is all well worth the wait and at price that was too shockingly affordable to be believed. A perfect 10/10 will be returning in mass and at any available chance
