   Hacienda San Angel is a wonderful place for brunch. Violin music was a great accompaniment. The wait staff are very accommodating and not intrusive. It is second only to The Iguana at Casa Kimberly, but that establishment has discontinued Sunday brunch

   Hacienda San Angel has a tremendous brunch! Awesome violinist and outstanding view. The waiter staff are great guys. Shout out to Arturo!

   It is not often that you can absolutely hands-down depend on a place to take friends to or enjoy on your own and know it will be perfect. Hacienda San Angel is that place. I am so impressed with the people with the chefs with the bakers with the fellow diners that I meet and the mellow, beautiful violin music. Just go you will see what I mean.

   6 years and this is still my favorite restaurant in Puerto Vallarta!! From start to finish everything about Hacienda San Angel is superb. The wait staff, the food, the mariachi, the views, the ambience! The beef short ribs were melt in your mouth delicious and the flan is the perfect amount of creamy sweetness. Thanks again for an excellent time and meal!

   Our favorite restaurant in PVR, after visiting every year for the last decade. Exquisite delicacies served with pride by the fabulous waiters. The setting at night is romantic with all of the candles lit on the property, but increase by the sounds of the splendid mariachi band. 5* restaurant!

   Very romantic place to take a date or to celebrate. The prices are expensive. The sun is right in your face when you first set down. People kept having to switch chairs or seats to keep from being blinded. My wife ordered the rib-eye medium and it came out rare. The service did not match the cost. We were ignored for most of our dinner. We kept trying to get our waiter Raul's attention but he would not make eye contact. Glass of so-so wine $12USD. Water $7USD. WE can eat at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs,a 5 star resort for the same price as Hacienda San Angle. My calamari was good. I would suggest Mismaloya Grill. The views are better. Prices great and food and service outstanding. The building is very unique and we enjoyed looking at the architecture. I went down stairs to explore another area of the building only to have the host reprehend me for going into a private area. If its private then why not shut the door or have a sign "Guest only"

   I am very sorry to hear about your experience dining with us. What you described for the most part is not what I normally expect of our team, especially Raul. He has a reputation for delivering the best service. I am also very sorry the steak was not done correctly. It may have been worth sending it back though to have a more enjoyable meal? I do appreciate that you gave us a try and took the time to share your experience so that I can explore what may have gone wrong to explain such poor service. I will definitely talk to the chef and the waitstaff. I regret that you did not have a better experience which is more the norm here. Thank you again for letting me know so that I can address what happened. Wishing you smooth travels.

    Amazing views, superb service and excellent food. Would highly recommend stopping in for dinner when in PV. Arturo our waiter was absolutely fantastic. He took our pictures, got us a decanter for our wine and was attentive throughout the meal. 5/5
