   Thank you for making my birthday a wonderful night!! I really enjoyed everything about this place. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! Both of my servers were amazing as well! Food was 10/10. I will be back!

   Our son & his friend were visiting from NYC so we took them to Hachi for lunch since it’s only a 7 minute drive from our house. The ambiance is warm & inviting. We are greeted with a welcome by the restaurant manager who brought us to our preferred table. We were the. greeted by a courteous & friendly waitress by the name JJ. We all had a delicious lunch & a wonderful experience. My husband & I ordered the lunch combo, which came with a salad, miso soup, vegetable tempura (which is super fresh & good), 3 pieces of nigiri (toro, sea bream, yellowtail) 6 pieces of sashimi, and a roll (I chose spicy tuna roll). The presentation surpasses our expectations & we were told because we are VIP guests. Our son & his friend each ordered 2 sushi rolls & some appetizers which also included a salad, miso soup and vegetable tempura. When we were getting ready to pay our bill, Serena (?), one of the restaurant’s co-owners came out to greet & chat with us. Overall, we’d highly recommend this Japanese restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Japanese sushi, sashimi, Omakase experience in an upscale & warm atmosphere. We are not big drinkers & did not order alcohol drinks but we noticed there’s also a very nice bar too. This will be our new “go to” restaurant when we crave for a fresh sushi/ sashimi meal. Thank you, Hachi chef & staff, for a wonderful lunch with our son before he flies back to NYC.

   Amazing, high quality cuts of fish! Came here for lunch and the chef was kind enough to come out and speak to us and elaborate more on where they source their fish from. It seems pricey but you really get what you pay for. Will be returning!

   This is my second time here and would say the food quality was better than the first time I went. The first time, the foie gras was not torched all the way and this time it seems like everything was prepared according to their standard. Definitely will come back and hopefully it’s consistent.

   We did the Omakase menu, everything was phenomenal. Our server was extremely attentive and did a great job explaining each dish. The cocktails and wine were both great as well (Lychee martini and Sancerre) We would definitely come back!

   Delicious omakase experience! There’s a great selection of nigiri and sake as well. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend sitting at sushi counter if available

   We had an amazing omakase experience last night. We sat at the counter and the chef was very engaging. The quality and taste of the sushi was absolutely incredible . It’s definitely one of the most memorable experience. We had been to many popular ones including Neo, Hidden Omakase, Soto and Katami. I think for the price, staff and the ambiance, Hachi is better!

    Visiting from Corpus Christi and so glad we stopped in! Service was five stars, server was very knowledgeable about the menu and all the items and even recommended what to try. Ambiance was beautiful. All the food was very delightful.  we’ll definitely be back when we are here again in Houston!
