   Our sommelier was great. He took complex topics (like how the region where the grapes are grown impacts the taste of the wine) and made them easy to understand and interesting. This is a great experience for someone who is new to wine or someone who wants to expand his/her knowledge of wine. This is experience is perfect for a date night or a girl's night out; however, this class may not be good for people who have an extensive knowledge of wine.

   This was a great touch for our anniversary stay at the Grand Bohemian. If you like wine and are interested in how great wine is made, this is for you. Forrest was a great and knowledgeable host in our time there. I understand how good wine is made into great wine with blending techniques that I learned durning the class. Highly recommended.

   First off, this is just pure fun, and educational for folks with a limited wine knowledge. Great explanations about the wines (reds only) you are given to blend. Understand that the blend you create will be bottled for you, but will not age or improve in the bottle--plan to drink it soon. If you are an experienced oenophile, experience this for the fun of seeing what you can create, but don't expect any great revelations. Best bet is to take a crowd and do a blind tasting of everyone's blend a couple of weeks later over dinner.
