This is my fourth time eating here. As always, service and food is outstanding! Everyone there is friendly and eager to please. It is amazingly beautiful inside and out! After dinner we enjoyed visiting Sancho, their friendly mule! Highly recommend, look forward to my next visit. BTW- the only reason I had noise level as moderate was because they were having a special event. Music was loud but we didn’t mind.

Staff was pleasant and attentive but rather casually dressed. The Gluten-Free roll they offered was burned, dry, and day-old, but it was the only one left in the restaurant. But the butter was soft. I ate the center of it with the butter but was disappointed. The steak I ordered medium but came medium-rare (too rare for my liking). I shared it with my partner and just ate the medium parts around the edges myself. I was not particularly hungry. The mashed potatoes were ok but seemed uninspired, a bit firm and not hot; seem like they had be refrigerated and then warmed up but not well. They might have whipped them up a bit or something. The signature drink was sickeningly sweet and not palatable, not impressive and, in fact, kind of gross. The adjacent table was a crowd of eight intoxicated and noisy diners, one whose snoring could be heard over the music, which was at an ambient volume, as he passed out, seated, upright in his chair. The group simply ate around him and left him to his unconsciousness. My dining companion ordered the trout, which he shared in exchange for my steak. Not a good recipe whatever the sweet sauce was over the fish with the pomegranate seeds. Just a bad combination for fish. I tried two bites to make sure I was tasting what I was tasting. I regret dining there.

Thank you for your feedback. As an owner, I visited your table several times during the evening, and no concerns were mentioned to allow us the opportunity to course correct. We take every guest experience very personally—especially when it doesn’t reflect the thoughtful environment we work so hard to create. We would have happily helped you select a different cocktail to better suit your tastes. Regarding the nearby table, the guests had come from a memorial service and the guest who fell asleep just lost his husband. While the situation was out of our control, we would reseated you had we known there was a distraction. We believe in offering grace, as we never know what someone is going through. We regret your visit missed the mark and welcome the chance to change your mind.

I have never had a bad meal at The Guesthouse! The food is always so good and the staff are just the sweetest. I also love the variety of entertainment on the weekends. There is always something to look forward to. My family and I will be long time guests and continue to bring our friends and family to enjoy all that The Guesthouse has to offer.
