   Easter Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice. Generous portion for the tastiest roast dinner was the highlight though starter and dessert were really good too. Children’s menu offered plenty of favourites and our 5-year old very much enjoyed her lunch. Service was quick and friendly and it was very quiet and relaxing in the restaurant. A local favourite that is visited often.

   A most enjoyable lunch in a very pleasant dining room. The food was excellent...can recommend the smoked haddock and the ox cheek and rump pie. Also, the salted caramel and honeycomb cheesecake was heavenly!

   First time at the Grouse and ale following a long dog walk. We were impressed with the greeting and service. The Sunday roast beef was excellent. would recommend and revisit

   First visit to the Grouse and Ale. Lovely pub, delicious food, very efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend this venue.

   Great food and good size portions, it was a very busy lunchtime but the service was excellent. The waiting staff came several times to make sure we were ok...would definitely return

    Very friendly staff. We had an issue with one of the mains and it was dealt with efficiently and with courtesy. Well done.
