   Little Italy classic spot. Wonderful food and great ambience. Homemade pasta has been the specialty here for over 100 years. A real treat.

   Everytime we visit New York city we go to Little Italy and eat at Grotto Azzura, fantastic food and waiter very attentive.

   The wait staff was very attentive. The food was good and we were seated right on time. What more could you ask for ? I would go back again and again.

   Food was delicious! We had eggplant parmesan which was so light and melted in your mouth. We also tried the pizzas which were out of this world! Small eating area but cozy! Would recommend to everyone!

   My boyfriend and I were celebrating Valentines Day a week late bc we work so much. When we arrived we were sat in a cozy corner that was lit by candlelight. Unfortunately, a large group was sat before us in the middle of the dining room who were extremely loud, crude and drunk. I mentioned this to the matradee and our date night was moved in another quiet room. The food & wine were outstanding and the service was attentive and kind. Our server even took me & my boyfriend downstairs to see where Frank Sinatra and other celebs have been served in the past. Overall, our experience was lovely. I highly recommend Grotta Azzura. I will definitely be back!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Terrible! we didn't even eat here because even though we had a confirmed 10 pm reservation, their website said they closed at 11 and we arrived at 950, we were rudely told they were closed.
