   Surprisingly great food for a hotel restaurant. House salad was a nicely stacked diverse mix of greens, fresh and crunchy and blended with others like radishes, fennel, etc. Great dressing. The seafood was cooked to perfection, and I know good seafood. Very pleased with this in particular.

   Was conveniently located at our hotel the Westin SFO Airport. The fish, salmon and swordfish were not fresh.

   Group of 24 had its highs and lows. Only 2 people ordered their signature NY Steak. Both were woefully overdone. I ordered the cioppino and it was better than average. Burgers were deliciously flavored but a couple were slightly overdone. To be fair, 15 people said their meal was excellent. Regarding the service: The staff was very attentive- right up until 1 person spilled a drink all over the table and they watched us use our napkins to clean it up and never brought new napkins. People ended up sharing napkins. The price-performance was questionable but you expect to be overcharged when you go to a hotel restaurant. The trade off is, no one else was in there on a Sunday evening. That was nice. Overall, this event has the potential to be a homerun and would’ve created a lot of repeat business. A lack of attention to detail may have cost them a lot of money.

   It was a nice place close to the Airport easy access on and off freeway. We had to have a quick lunch and then get to the Airport.

   We wanted to celebrate my sons graduation in an intimate setting. We came to try this out before we decide to book. It was excellent. Everyone was great. Josh was very accommodating. We then booked and he took care of everything. We gave our orders ahead of time since our dinner was at 9 bec of the graduation. All was organized and food came out and was served with no problem. Besides the excellent service food was great. I highly recommend Grill and Vine

    The breakfast buffet is average. I appreciate the real scrambled eggs instead of the powdered stuff many other restaurants use. The sausage and bacon are cooked in large batches, however, and then left out on the buffet for quite some time before they're all consumed. The hot plates only keep the food barely warm, so you end up with chewy, nearly room temp bacon or sausage. The fresh fruit selection is very good. Coffee and juice are also included, which is also great. The service has plenty of room for improvement. This is a restaurant staff working almost on auto-pilot, with as little eye contact or conversation as necessary. They're passable as friendly, but they're not really working to deliver any sort of customer satisfaction or experience. After going 3 days/week for a month, I've finally discovered on my own that you can request eggs-to-order from the kitchen, as well as other types of juice (including tomato).
