   We had a wonderful corner table upstairs looking out a window. It was a great spot to have! We enjoyed a lovely and memorable evening thanks to Ryan. The Big Crush Martini may just take the award for my favorite cocktail at a restaurant (& we have dined at far too many to count!). The presentation was incredible— so much so that I enjoyed a second. The steak, tots and mac and cheese exceeded our expectations. Thank you for an incredible dining experience. We will definitely make a return visit when we are in Boston again.

   Food was excellent. Steak set a new standard. All the sides were delicious. Only thing that I didn’t really enjoy was the noise level. It was difficult to have a conversation directly across the table from my wife.

   We had a great night out at Grill 23! Sonny was a great server, he was professional, personable, and had a great sense of humor! Loved his duck tie :) The rest of the service team, including the server’s assistant and hosts, were so hospitable and kind. The food was delicious, we recommend the Hummingbird Cheesecake and Coconut Cake. Thanks for a great night!

   I made a dinner reservation 4 days in advance and requested a table located with less noise and near the window for an important business meeting. My guest and I were seated on the second floor next to the bar with music playing in the background. There was no warning or explanation given why my request was ignored. Unfortunately the services and food did not overcome this disappointing situation. The steaks and drinks did not meet previous dining experience and the service was slow and took 3 hours.

   Always a 5 star experience here! Cannot ever go wrong. I’ve been coming here since my college days (and we’re talking, like, 40 years!). First time I came here was with my parents for Parents Weekend when I was in college. Now, some 49 years later, it is just as good. Ryan is a great bartender and really understands hospitality.

   It’s the best Steak House in Boston. There are several other standouts and standards, but the 23 is just a bit better than the rest, and can compete with the finest from Chicago and NYC. The quality of the meal and the service are A++. You will pay, but any top of the heap steak restaurant will dent your wallet. The meals the 4 of had were superbly done to match the quality of the steaks. Desserts (coconut cake, fresh chocolate chip cookies) delicious. Our server Tim, friendly and excellent. Downstairs is a special scene- but be prepared for the high noise level. It’s lively, upstairs is less so.

    The service was amazing . If you mad a reservation there is no wait time once your there they sit you right way. the servers are always making sure your good and the food came out fast .The quality of the food was amazing .
