    Had a large group for work. We asked the staff to just feed us some good stuff. Wow! They delivered!! The food was fantastic. They were so nice and took great care of us. Thank you!!

    We tried shrimp tacos and tartatelle from the spring menu and really enjoyed the masterfully combined flavors of each dish. The short rib and creamy sauce in the pasta was very flavorful and landed on the palate with a resounding “ENJOY!” The shrimp tacos had a freshness and so much flavor. The nice finish was a drink they named “Kentucky Heat”. Chef’s kiss muah!

    More like 1.5 stars. Money not well spent. The food was all over the place: the brussel sprouts, patatas bravas and fries were good. The Dino ribs were fun to look at, but were too heavily seasoned in parts, and just tasted like dry pot roast. The scallops were laughably small. When the price says "MP" next to it it's safe to assume you're getting 3-4 good diver scallops. But no, I got 3 that were barely bigger than the size of a quarter. The short rib tagliatelle was not bad, but not good. And oddly creamy. The Caesar salad had so much shredded parm on top you couldn't see what was underneath, and my daughter (who loves Caesar salads) could barely eat it. We could tolerate the mediocre food if the service and vibe were good. However, the music was all unpopular 80s songs (not the good ones), and waitress seemed nice but she was hardly ever there. We had two empty water carafes for the entirety of the meal. She offered to switch out our dirty plates after the apps, then left us holding our dirty utensils (we had cloth napkins and nowhere to put them) for 15 min until she came back with clean plates. Also, the plates are so small - maybe 5-6" across? When the Dino ribs came it was hard to balance them on the tiny plates. And the utensils are weirdly long, so it's a mismatch with the tiny plates. One last thing - the restaurant was nearly empty the entire time we were there, so the slow food arrival time and nearly non-existent service made no sense at all. Just a sad, lackluster vibe. We went to celebrate my mom's bday (which I’d written under their requested notes section when I made the res here) but there was no mention of it. I had planned on ordering a dessert for my mom, but we were all so over it that by the time they asked, we said no because we were so eager to just leave and cut our losses early. Do not recommend and we won’t be back again.

    Outstanding from start to finish, welcomed with a warm greeting when we walked through the door, server was very knowledgeable of the entire menu, gave us great recommendations in which we ordered, oxtail and rib eye were awesome, bartender made a couple great cocktails to pair with the meal, definitely returning and bringing more friends to experience Griffins!

    We went for my husbands birthday and had a Saturday reservation and the restaurant was quiet and not very full. The service was pleasant and very quick and the owner came by to chat. I had very flavorful shrimp and pasta and my husband had the meatballs. As many others have said, the meatballs were terrific. I would come again.

    Griffins absolutely nailed it tonight. The ribeye was perfectly seared, tender and juicy. The crispy brussels sprouts were delicious. My favorite dish was the patatas bravas. They were golden and crispy with the most amazing aioli. So good we ordered seconds! Definitely a place worth coming back to.
