Good seafood. Odd that they don’t offer any dessert. Quite pricey

Made reservations but when arrived there was a party and reservations were not honored. Was sent to another restaurant that also did not have any tables. Not happy and will not return.

I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed it. I do wish the menu online matched the one at the restaurant.

Wow so neighborhood gem? Great fresh shellfish for an amazing price given average costs of seafood towers in NYC. Somewhat limited brunch menu but food was amazingly good. My friend thorough enjoyed the cheese grits and her overflowing lobster roll. Drinks were effective, light and refreshing (probably could have gone for a second round but then we would have never made it to our final destination, sadly). Service was excellent considering that we were surrounded by families w children. Definitely recommend and will be back!!

I have been here before but not sure I will come back again. The bartender had no clue what was going on. My friend ordered a beer and pointed to it on the menu and the bartender came back with a mixed drink. Then he made a stink about it as if my friend had ordered it when its hard to confuse a fruity drink for a dark lager. Then the keg kicked when he was serving my friend his second beer and it splattered all over my friend and he just laughed. Then my friend tried ordering a third beer which came out luke warm and he couldn't even finish it. We had to ask for everything. Plates for oysters and then silverware when the food came out. Then when we wanted to get our check the bartender was no where to be found and only one bartender was manning the bar and it had gotten crowded so it took forever to get out of there. I love the food here but the service was so horrible I don't think I can come back here.

Service sorely missing: had to flag down a waiter to get new drinks; table was left uncleared for more than 20 mins on a Sat night when they only had 3 other tables seated; missing cutlery; needed to ask for a new dish for mussel shells; no finger bowl. Cocktails are mediocre and when we complained, we just got a 'sorry'. Fish was mealy and grey. We got fewer oysters than we paid for. Overall, staff spend their time gathered at the bar, chatting, are there to have a better time than their paying customers. Suggest some actual "rigorous training" is needed, to satisfy claims on their website. A shame that they can't get service organized, as some food items i.e globe artichokes and PEI mussels, was delicious!

It's a cute place with decent food but because they have outdoor seating and they are constantly opening the door to the outside, whatever temperature it is outside is what the temperature is inside - we were sweating! It's also oddly dark. We went for dinner on a Thursday evening and the lights were basically off the whole time. With the large windows allowing light in from the street, half the table was in complete darkness and half the table was lit by the streetlamp, it was pretty weird. Also, they started playing DJ music around 9pm which was a little much.

Disappointing dining experience. The service took FOREVER. The recommended dishes were over seasoned and lukewarm. Dinner came at the same time at the cocktail! I almost left. Plus, I received an email saying the restaurant canceled my reservation after I'd already checked in, sat down and ordered. When I let the server know, he said "does it matter?". YES! It does. I won't get points but the restaurant gets the benefit of a new customer who never would have known the restaurant existed. He said later that they fixed it. But it was an odd thing to have happen. There are so many dining options in this area. Choose another one.
