   Truly outstanding. Service, food, environment. Just splendid. Surpassed expectations. We only popped in as we thought it sounded nice and we’re blows away.

   Despite being very busy, we were served immediately & efficiently, drinks arrived shortly after ordering with food slightly after. Food superb, as expected - 4 roasts & 1 sandwhich meal, all delicious & outstanding quality. Roast prices have increased, but so has every where else's; able to take our new puppy & felt very welcome, thank you!

   Service was very good today, there were 4 of us for breakfast. Food presentation could be so much better - it looks like a cheap cafe breakfast when it doesn’t need to be….

   Food is excellent, booked with OpenTable to ensure a table for lunch meal. Shop has a great choice of produce, fantastic meat and fish counter. Excellent quality produce. Farm animals and ostrich in pens outside. Despite awful weather had a lovely afternoon.

   We had booked the patio area for a birthday meal Asking for a space We have been here previously and sat in this location and it was fantastic based on the needs of the individuals On arrival we will put into the main restaurant next to the serving area which was busy we were told that they were shortstaffed so we couldn’t go into the other area although there were already people eating in there and 3/4 of it was empty We were moved to a bench area which was near the steps coming into the restaurant Meanwhile people arriving were being seated in the area that we thought we had reserved Unfortunately one of our party did not stay for the meal due to the noise ( sensory issues ) and also the smell coming from the farm shop namely the butchers Sometimes there is a reason why you look to reserve a particular area Which was highlighted to the server A phone call would’ve been nice to say that the reservation would be changed seating wise Which would’ve made us change venue Disappointing to see other people being seated in an area where we could’ve enjoyed the birthday meal together without any issues.

   Please stop leaving the cutlery in a caddy on the table. When we were there today there were children playing with the sauces in said caddy and I don't really want to use cutlery that has had grubby hands all over it. Is it such a problem to ring the cutlery out with the meals as you currently do it with soup. I feel like bringing g my own cutlery in future.

   Food and service was excellent . Was there Wednesday and enjoyed 2 for 1 on fish and chips , great value and quality food. Will definitely return
