Completely refurbished and re-branded for the start of 2013, we welcome you to the Terrace Lounge at The Great Western Hotel, Aberdeen. On the first of February we were delighted to obtain the services of our new head chef, Murray Cheyne. Murray was head chef at the Newmachar Hotel for over 10 years. We have been trying to persuade him to join us for many years. Fortunately, at long last, he agreed. Murray has now built his team around him and we are fully staffed to meet all our customers needs. Our focus is to provide our diners with great quality food created using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients freshly prepared and presented for your enjoyment.

we have a customer car park at the rear of the hotel there is also free road side parking beside the hotel on Pitstruan Place.

We are about a mile from the bus and train stations (£5.00 taxis ride) and about a fifteen minutes (seven mile, £20.00 taxis ride) from the Airport. There are also a number of buses that pass the hotel on a regular basis coming to and from the city centre.

Booked a table for 2. On arrival was told they don’t serve food on a Monday but the app allowed me to book a table? Not impressed!!

A group of seven of us went on a Tuesday night at had a fabulous time, the staff were great and the food was excellent! Can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely time at Terrace Lounge for our colleagues leaving lunch. Service was quick and efficient, food enjoyed by all and accommodating for colleagues buggy.

I love it here. The Thursday offer is outstanding, it's spotlesslu clean and love the surroundings. On this occasion we would have spent more on sweet and coffee but the 2 staff on were run off their feet as they were manning the bar and making cocktails. Need more staff on if no bar person. Not the waitresses fault. Still going back though as this is not normal for here x

Very good as usual. We chose the burger night (2 for £16) which is excellent value. To be recommended
