   The Graycliff is outstanding! We came back for our 1st Anniversary after being married at the Graycliff last year . As always they were outstanding the 4 waiters we on top of everything and the food OMG I have never had a steak so tender that it almost melts in your mouth. I can’t say enough good things about the Graycliff and if you are looking for a destination wedding I would definitely recommend the Graycliff our guests are still talking about it.

   From the moment we arrived, we were given the choice of indoor seating or dining al fresco. We opted for the latter, and it turned out to be the perfect decision. The evening was stunning, and the gardens, along with the soft lighting, created a truly special ambiance. Our experience began in the lounge, where we enjoyed cocktails while listening to an incredible pianist and vocalist. His performance set the tone for an unforgettable night. Once seated, we ordered starters and main courses, followed by an exquisite Grand Marnier Soufflé. Every dish was expertly prepared, delivering a flawless dining experience. When it came to wine, we were presented with an extensive list—practically a Bible. While we initially had a bottle in mind, we sought the sommelier’s advice. His recommendation exceeded our expectations, elevating our meal even further. From the impeccable food to the enchanting atmosphere, every detail contributed to an extraordinary evening—one we all thoroughly enjoyed.

   The pre-dinner cocktails were great in the Piano lounge and enjoyed some lovely live music. Our table was outside and it was a lovely temperature to dine out doors. Service was impeccable, ordered the daily special 16oz steak and a tuna tartar starter and was paired with some very lovely wine. We also had a tour of the private wine cellar after our dinner which was a nice experience.

   What an incredible experience for our 25th wedding anniversary at Graycliff. The wine was amazing, the seating in the garden was beautiful and the service and food were impeccable. Definitely the highlight of our trip!

   Ein wunderschönes viktorianisches Gebäude mit einer zauberhaften, romantischen Terrasse, sehr gutem Essen und einem aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service. Mein Mann hatte Geburtstag und das war mal ein richtig außergewöhnlicher Auftritt von einem Birthday-Song der Crew, großes Lob! Preiskategorie wie in Dubai: Wir haben für zwei Personen, je Vor-und Hauptspeise, 1 Fl. Wein, 2 Aperitifs und 1 Fl Wasser knapp 500 Dollar gezahlt. Tipp: Man sollte sich etwas einsprühen mit Anti-Mücken Spray, wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt. Eine einzige Sache hat uns aber genervt: Wir reisen um die ganze Welt und besuchen dort Weingüter, führen selbst ein großes Weinlager. Die Weinliste ist ein dickes Buch, das ist erst einmal imposant für ein Restaurant, viele interessante Weine. Als der Kellner uns anbot, die richtige Seite aufzuschlagen und uns fragte, ob wir weiß oder rot wollen würden und wir es am Anfang noch nicht wussten, schien er leider schon genervt zu sein. Wir wollten selber einmal im Buch stöbern, weil wir es wirklich sehr interessant fanden. Als er etwas gestresst und keine 2 Minuten später wieder fragte, haben wir ihm unsere favorisierten Trauben mitgeteilt (Chardonnay und Syrah) und er wollte uns daraufhin in einem herablassenden Ton belehren, dass Chardonnay ja ein Weißwein sein und wurde sichtlich mehr genervt. Vielleicht gibt es nur das eine dicke Buch und er war unter Zeitdruck, aber wir fühlten uns anstatt gut beraten, einfach nur bedrängt und von oben herab behandelt, das dürfte niemals sein. Alles andere war aber wirklich toll und wir würden das Restaurant klar weiterempfehlen.
