   Food menu only had a few choices and nothing normal. Had to get kids food at McDonald’s and we normally don’t eat that. Rented the snow cabana and the heater didn’t work. Spent more there than another seafood place in town and wasn’t worth it. If only 4 options for dinner, needs to have at least a chicken dish or something regular. Not just Indian or odd things you would never find on a menu.

   I was truly disappointed to walk up to this place with my out of town friends, and expect to see what’s in the pictures (multiple igloo’s with windows in a common area), only to find 1 igloo on a porch basically next to the street. Then we go inside expecting the menu that’s on the website, only to find nothing on that menu, and to be told “oh you’re probably reading the wrong menu,” as if it’s my fault their website isn’t set up correctly to show the right location’s menu/pictures. Oh, and did I mention the igloo want even ready for our reservation? Then we go inside, and of course it didn’t look like the picture either. Every game inside is missing some piece, and the heater didn’t even slightly warm the room. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Truly made me never want to see another gravity Haus again.

   I was really wanting to leave an incredible review, but I simply can’t due to the experience my family had while dining at this establishment. First and foremost, being from out of town, I wanted to take my family to a place where they go above and beyond for their guests. I ran across this dinner experience and decided to give it a shot. I reserved the top of the line snow cabanas with Gravity Haus because of all the great reviews and delightful photos the restaurant boasts. Upon our arrival though, it was anything but a pleasant experience. My family and I arrived right at our scheduled reservation. When we arrived, there were no staff in sight. So I made my way back towards to bar and asked one of the bartenders about our reservation. They responded with a “yeah” and pointed me back outside towards the one and only cabana they had displayed. I then took my wife and kids back outside where it was 17 degrees to the cabana. Once there, I noticed that the lights were off and the cabana completely shut down. We opened the door to a dark and cold room. I used my flashlight from my phone to try and find the instructions to the heater. After several minutes, a lady came out and apologized that they didn’t have anything prepared. There was an old food cart with dishes from the previous dinner from the night before. To say we were disappointed, would have been cutting it lightly. Instead of complaining, I cooled off and went to use the restroom while we waited in the cold for someone to turn the heat and lights on. After nearly 30 minutes, the cabana started to get warm. By then, I was ready to leave, but our children were hungry, so we ordered. As far as the meal itself, it was okay. At this point, everyone was just hungry, so we ate & left as quick as we could. What promised to be a great experience for its guests, turned out to be a nightmare. Again, I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but when you spend a lot for a service, you expect better than what we got.

   We booked the cabana based on pictures which displayed windows. The cabana at Winter Park did not have windows. It also only had one heater and we were very cold during our time. The food was excellent but the menu was limited.

   A dream come true on the slopes in Vail awaits your group at the Snow Cabanas. The food and the cocktails were superb. Burgers? The best! Grilled cheese and tomato soup! Warms your soul. Chris was the most attentive host (there are 3 Chris’) so ask for Chris when you go there :)

    Sadly this experience could have been so much better. We arrived and the cabana we were put in faced a broken grill and patio furniture it wasn't even facing the mountain. We asked to be moved and Brandon the Larkspur manager was extremely rude and said all the cabanas were booked. However later came back and was able to move us after we talked to Gravity Haus. The ottoman in our cabana was ripped and the coat hook fell over due to a broken leg. We were not told ahead of time but all heaters were removed but they are still advertising that the cabanas were heated. The food and drinks were extremely overpriced and the service could have been better. Our champagne bucket broke due to it having an previous crack and Larkspur charged us for it. Terrible customer service. I am appalled for the money spent that the details were not taken into consideration. I will never return due to the poor customer service we received during this experience.
