   My family of 9 visited for Easter Sunday brunch (buffet) and was disappointed in many things. First the server only took our plates and brought drinks yet there was a mandatory 20% tip added to the bill. I understand servers need to make money, but I asked for some butter and was told that it's up there at the buffet table. Second the aisles and walking space was very tight. The chair backs were very close and you had to squeeze through to get to and from the tables. Third the food was OK. They had a reasonable choice and an omelet station too. They advertised that they offered Eggs Benedict and when I asked the server they said it's at the omelet station. When I went to the omelet station they said they are no longer doing Eggs Benedict (we had an 11:30 reservation and it was around noon when I asked.) The cost was inflated $11.00 to $35.00 from their normal $24.00. I have been to this buffet in the past and have always enjoyed thier food, service and atmosphere at the Eagan location, but this will likely be the last time I go to their buffet.    Our neighborhood group of seven people had a great time at Granite City last night. We all ordered the two for $25 or 2 for $35 special. It was an appetizer or soup and two dinners from a special menu. I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, green beans instead of fries and Cheesy Chicken Tortilla Soup. It was delicious! All of our group enjoyed their meals! Our server was Daeja and she was very friendly and did an excellent job with drinks and checking in on us.

   We love Granite City! Another fantastic brunch with made to order omelets, perfectly cooked prime rib, scrumptious French toast bar, and all the customary fixings. The cinnamon rolls were a little too dry, made us long for those GC used to serve a decade ago. That said, they’re still better than other restaurants at the same price point. The staff is amicable, I’d even say the back of the house staff was friendlier and engaging as the chefs round chat with us as they brought out more food to the buffet, and the gentleman that made my omelette had a contagious smile.

   Food was very good as always. Service was slow, drinks didn't come until halfway through the food. We went for the buffet, but half the time we had to wait for plates or food to be refilled. There were really busy and people were packed in, but the services was very understaffed.

   I absolutely love this place there has not been one thing that I’ve tried so far that I have not loved. A very large party came in that delayed our food and they were overly apologetic and accommodating. That level of customer service is so refreshing.

   The biscuits and gravy were excessively salty. The Omelettes were delicious but I missed the eggs Benedict were sorely missed.

   St. Patrick's Day Brunch- I took my two adult sons and my grandson to brunch. There was an upcharge because of St. Patrick's Day specials. We do brunch at Granite City often and I thought the specials were mediocre at best. There was a large crown and some of the items such as the Bangers & Cabbage were different than what I expected- such as this had slivers of sausage and not a lot of cabbage.

    It was busy as it was burger night however Brittany , our waitress was excellent. Food is always very good.
