We ate here about 2 years ago and the food was high quality. We booked again expecting the same. The food was average, standard menu and venison crumble was poor. Reheated meat with a sprinkle of what looked like flour on top, dry. My daughter’s chicken came out in a cardboard box as did the sides. Asked for a plate and got a side plate. Given the bill for 4 was nearly $200 ( inc 1 drink) having to eat from paper plates brought down the experience. It was Easter and very quiet. Not surprising.

This was our 3rd visit to GBB over the years. We look forward to the ambience and beers. This year was a let down mainly due to confusing restrictions on drink service. We much prefer last year's recipe for the apple cider, this year they have two varieties. Not as good:(

Friendly staff and great service. Happily moved our table away from a larger group. Food tasty and plenty of choice. Serves are large

Delicious well thought out menu. We walked away satisfied and not bursting at the seams full. The portion sizes and wait times between courses was perfect. Fantastic service from the wait staff also.

Evening meal. We sat on back deck overlooking gardens. The service was cordial and efficient. The majority of the meals were delicious, especially the barramundi and selection of desserts. Outside bench style seating for senior members of the group was uncomfortable and difficult to manage. There were mosquito's.

Good quality food, lovely staff. Could have done with cooler air-conditioning in the heatwave and some iced table water. Environment can be a bit noisy but it was nice that couples tables were a good distance from the large tables. Would definitely go again.

3 of us dined on Father’s Day, a good choice as it was quiet and we had a good table inside. The beef ribs with bbq sauce were cooked perfectly with crunchy chips. The pulled pork burger was huge and meat very tender. My calamari was lightly cooked and the sweet potatoes so crunchy that the others insisted on eating them too. The only negative was the aioli with the sweet potatoes, it tasted like thickened cream and was far too sweet with no garlic flavour. Apart from that we ate everything so a good meal finished with a Summer ale.

Thought there was limited options on the menu and required to have a minimum of 2 course meal Whilst food was nice it was not good in value for money Also was not aware of 10% additional surcharges for a Sunday
