Enjoy delicious sushi at Shiso, an excellent Rio de Janeiro Japanese restaurant.

Shiso is led by Chef Miriam Moriyama. Inspired by the fusion of traditional oriental elements with contemporary interpretations, Shiso is specialized in a sushi, sashimi and yakitori menu.

Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail from the sake bar and observe the dishes being prepared. A large bar designed in stone and wood, originated from the same tree, encourages contact with the chefs as guests watch the preparation of dishes. With the architectural layout of the restaurant designed by Artur Casas and photography of Tuca Reinés emblazoned on the wall, honoring the Japanese cinema director, Yasujiro Ozu, Shiso is the perfect spot to enjoy the delicate craft and singular expression of the Japanese influences.
