   I had the good fortune to receive a gift certificate to Grace. It was an elegant experience to dine there, surrounded by the good cheer of families and couples on a Saturday night. Our table was perfectly located on the second floor, overlooking activity around the bar, the kitchen and the church interior. Food was excellent, prepared to perfection. Michael, our waiter, was genuine and attentive. It was a divine culinary experience.

   We went to Grace for the last time on Friday, and our meal was spectacular, as was the service. We are so very very sorry to see Grace close as a restaurant. Hope to attend a function at their new venue.

   Food and atmosphere was exceptional. Our waitress needed a personality transplant. No idea whether she was just having a bad day, tired, upset to possibly be loosing her job (restaurant is closing for daily business soon) but I found her abrupt and not terribly informative or helpful. As a result, we left a 15% tip rather than our customary 20%.

   The staff was off and the kitchen was down 2 cooks...the stressful energy was felt immediately upon entering the building. I made a reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes. Food was bland. Unfortunately not a good outing at all.

   They are closing soon....but no reason to be running out of food....and the steaks were not cooked right - but it took so long to get them served - we didn't say anything. A lot of money for a subpar food.

    We had dinner before going to a concert at Merrill Auditorium and ran into a couple friends doing the same thing, a four friends out for dinner, and a friend hosting an office staff party. Plenty of reasons to select Grace: nice ambiance, varied menu, delicious food, attentive service. Great start to a delightful evening!
