Kent’s favourite award winning restaurant is located deep in the heart of Folkestone. Here at Googies we serve gourmet style street & BBQ food where quality of produce is everything. Our seasonal menu is designed to showcase the best of local produce; from our rare unique Dexter beef, minced fresh at Googies to create our show stopping Gourmet burgers, right down to our wild herbs foraged by our skilled team of chefs.     We love this place and have been for lunch and dinner. The food is totally yummy and the portions are big. There is a good choice of drinks and the specials are worth ordering.

    I have been going here for a few years now and have seen the general quality decrease. The service was very slow, 55 mins instead of the promised 35 and we had 4 different people serving us, each with little idea of what the previous one had been doing. It serves a good quality, local beef burger, but the standard of preparation and presentation was unimpressive. We went to a different venue for coffee as we felt life was too short to ask for anything else. I also note they seem to have a high turn over in staff, which doesn't help as I always feel like a new customer. I have taken into consideration that it was Good Friday and they were busy, but they charge full price and they should give full service. It is unlikely I will go again.

    Been a few times and never had a compliant.. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is always amazing and the homemade cakes delicious.. They have a good vegan selection too.

    The food is very good. Service is slow and food coming out is again slow. Took a long time to get our drinks. The person serving isn't very enthusiastic looks like can't be bothered, doesnt greet with a smile. We booked a table for lunch and came in and said 'we have a reservation' and he said yes sit on that table over there, which i thought was slightly rude. The door was kept open the whole time so was breezy wind coming through. A few things weren't available on the menu when we ordered. Not a very good selection of deserts, a sunday and brownie. I like the place and the food is good buts its missing the excitement from the staff and the service isn't at all great.

    Burnt food had to be returned and changed for a salad that took 15min to arrive and was told the delay was due to having to poach an egg to go on it! Service inattentive, slow and seemed more interested in serving large group in at the same time. Will not be returning as plenty of alternatives nearby

    Der Service lies leider auf sich warten. Die Cocktails sind nicht zu empfehlen, hingegen die Burger sehr. Die Pommes Frittes könnten knuspriger sein.

    We love googies and visit frequently and have never had a problem but last night, being the only ones in the restaurant you'd think they'd get the Order right. Instead of getting pizza fries like we had asked for we received nachos. A little disappointing, although they still tasted great

    Good food with mediocre service. The starters arrived at the same time as the main course, the side order of onion rings arrived as we finished our main course. Good burgers though.

    Not as good as we remember. I recommended this to our friends so I was disappointed when the food and service wasn't as good as on previous visits
