Since it was opened in 1963 by Bob & Virginia Booth, the Golden Lamb Buttery has been one of Connecticut's most innovative dining experiences. Guests begin their evening with cocktails served in the restaurant’s old red barn full of antiques and family heirlooms. As you sip, you can enjoy a view of the property or even take a hayride. Dinner is served in one of the three dining rooms at the Golden Lamb Buttery. It is a prix fixe menu and includes such sumptuous options as smoked mussel bisque or chilled borscht for starters, roast duckling or an exquisite chateaubriand all served Golden Lamb Buttery family-style veggies, which is followed by dessert.
