   In the upstairs section for today. with guests. Water carafe was difficult to get refills . A few of the warm pastries/ crusts were burnt on the edges. The server did not know the desserts and told us most everything was sold out (3pm). However, we went downstairs and the pastry case was full of wonderful dessert treats.! Strange. We have been upstairs before and had good service & food. I hope today was a “one off”!

   I love Godfrey’s and was very excited to learn they were now offering reservations and table service for weekend brunch. I made a reservation for brunch with a friend last Sunday. Our server was friendly. Our food arrived, and a few moments later, someone stopped by to ask how everything was. Our waiter came by a short time later (while we were still eating) and asked if we wanted to order anything for dessert. When we said “no, thank you,” he suggested we go ahead and settle our bill (table side credit card system). We did so, despite the fact that we were still eating. After that, nobody ever came by to clear our plates, refill our water, etc. Even when the table next to us left and someone was clearing it, they never offered to clear our plates or ask if we needed anything. The table side service is a great idea for brunch but needs improvement!

   Godfrey’s is great - food is amazing, however, slow service once seated it takes awhile for some one to come take your order and because they make everything fresh it takes awhile to get your food as well. However, well organized, friendly and cares about the customers.

   Godfrey’s really stands out with their premium and tasty food/bevs and such kind and courteous staff! I especially love going here due to their gluten free options, as I have a gluten intolerance. I go here almost every Sunday for post-church brunch and they never disappoint! :)

   Love Godfrey’s—it reminds me of (albeit larger) cafes and shared spaces in Europe. Food is generally good (breakfast is my favorite). I live close by, so I can pop in, but having the option for reservations is tremendously helpful. ,

    Very good food and healthy options. Good service. Downside: very noisy. Next time will probably sit outside, weather permitting.
