Second visit and a tad disappointed. On arrival greeted by a really cheerful guy, however his shift clearly ended just after he served our order; after that you could hear the wind whistle. When we wanted to order more drinks after our meal my friend (after waving her arm for over a minute in the air) had to walk all the way to the end of the restaurant to break up the conversation the only two (visible) staff were deeply engaged in at the bar. Poor show. The menu is limited and not overly appealing for a light lunch. The halloumi sandwich was toasted which didn’t sit well with the grilled (?) halloumi, it was all too heavy and please make the fries optional, we certainly didn’t see the need for them. A board with 3-4 different bruschetta toppings would be so much easier to prepare and serve - keep it simple, not everyone wants a heavy sandwich. I’m sure once the sunshine comes out it will be super busy but the staff need to engage with their customers more if they want locals to return.

We didn't stay for a meal as we mistakenly thought we could have a proper cooked meal but at lunchtime only brunch is available, we had obviously been looking at the evening menu when we made the booking. Disappointing as tbe restaurant has a lovely outlook but there was nothing on the brunch menu that we wanted.

Lovely place, well situated by the beach and very clean venue. Our order was taken quickly, drinks arrived 5 minutes later, however, that’s was the positive. It went downhill after that as we waited over 45 minutes for 3 breakfast orders to arrive. The Glasshouse was busy but not to full capacity, more people drinking outside on the deck than dining inside. The food was ok but not a generous portion for the price; the baked beans came in a tiny pot (about 2 tablespoons full) with 1 small mushroom, 3 small potatoes, 4 tomatoes, a small slither of halloumi although with a reasonable amount of scrambled egg and toast. The table behind us waited longer for their food order and the table next to us also complained about the wait and about 2 of their food orders, we noticed their food was returned and some uneaten. Second time I’ve been here, first time was told there would be up to an hour’s wait for food so we left. Was hoping things had improved but sadly not.

We made a mistake of booking Sunday afternoon, they only have all day brunch menu with limited choice. We opted for mac cheese with lobster and crayfish, unfortunately it was disappointing. Food arrived promptly but was lukewarm with mainly crayfish, only one of us was lucky to have a piece of lobster. Wine was lovely and there was plenty of choice to suit every palette. We may try weekday menu and oysters one more time, to give the restaurant a chance as location is great and love the interior.

We decided to sit in the window, which was lovely but we needed sunglasses!! Our waitress wasn't exactly engaging and we had to go to the bar to pay.

A last minute decision to dine here was the best one. Excellent service, food impeccable, my sister said the rib eye was the best steak she had ever eaten!

Table was great and plenty of room for us all. Food was nice and all came out together. Great atmosphere Think the price for a breakfast is expensive Very attentive staff at the beginning but tables were not cleared of empty plates.
