Girl & the Goat opened in 2010 with the goal of offering a menu of bold, flavorful dishes designed to share in a fun and lively atmosphere. To complement the experience, we offer a curated selection of wines from around the world, focusing on small producers, along with a rotating list of craft beers and a playful cocktail menu crafted by our bartenders. The ever-changing menu, driven by locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, features favorites like sautéed green beans, roasted oysters, crispy short ribs, and confit goat belly. Was really looking forward to a meal here because of Stephanie Izzard. The food was all delicious but the portions are really small and certainly overpriced. The goat empanadas were really good but they are bite sized and $11 dollars each. Really liked the halibut, with a wonderful complex taste, but again a small portion (no more than 3 oz). Would come back but likely having esten something beforehand.

Not a great experience ! The 2 girls at the entrance were really not helping, and not great. We arrived a bit early and they said they could not accommodate us because they had other reservations. The restaurant was half empty and we we came back 30 minutes later it was still had’ empty and the tables that were available had not been used at alll. Clearly they did not want to help and BS us. Terrible experience right from the start !

Definitely worth it! Went with a friend and we got 4 dishes and desert. The plates are small enough to try one thing from each section in the menu and share with a friend. My glass was never empty, great service. I will say that the espresso was sour but I'm sure their latte is much better.

Overall, dinner was great. Food was fantastic, service was pretty good from start to finish and the restaurant is a good time. Was a bit loud for the large table we were sat at but not a big deal.

While pricey, the food was amazing. The goat empanadas are a great choice. The chickpea fritters are our other favorite dish.

We made a special trip into the city for dinner at Girl and the Goat. We were not disappointed. We had a table of 4, ordered 8 plates to share for dinner and 2 plates for dessert. Everything we had was phenomenal. Service was also outstanding. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone and would love to go back ourselves.
