   Very enjoyable. Food was wonderful, service excellent. A bit tight with crowding of tables and noise level is a bit high if you're sitting next to loud people.

   Our server Chris was pleasant and super friendly. Food was outstanding! The “steak and eggs” and fingerling potatoes are out of this world. Everything was exceptional!

   The Girl and the Goat is a very expensive chaotic experience. The restaurant is very loud and crowded. There was absolutely no room between our table and the next table over. My sons and I got bumped into by the other patrons seated chair to chair with us repeatedly. My youngest son is disabled and there was no room for his wheelchair so we didn't bring it in. The only restrooms were down a complete flight of stairs. Not inclusive at all. That said - the food is unique and excellent. We have been fans of Stephanie Izzard for years and we have wanted to eat at her flagship restaurant for a very long time. Glad we finally got the chance.

   It’s a nice place however we were rushed in and out for entirety of dinner, all of the dishes are appetizer size, rushed out quickly and taken away as soon as last piece of food leaves the plate. Really discounts the experience.

    Overall the food was delicious, although we would skip the recommended chicken pea fritters next time. There are Calabrian chile peppers in almost every dish, so if you don’t like “heat” let them know. The dishes arrived one at a time & were well spaced which we appreciated. Our server never checked to see how the food was until she brought our bill. We waited an inordinately long time for our dessert. I had made the reservation 2 months in advance, indicating a birthday celebration. They confirmed the birthday when we checked in. There was NOTHING done to recognize the birthday once we were seated (I observed a bday recognition at another table)…including with the dessert. I was very disappointed. I stopped at the hostess table on our way out to let them know how disappointed I was. At that point, they apologized & asked if we’d like a champagne toast…too little, too late as the birthday boy was already out the door & I was right behind him. We will not return.
