   Everyone at Giovanni's was very pleasant, but it somehow lacked warmth. The food was OK, but I had hoped for something less run-of-the-mill. The bruschetta could have had more bite, although maybe they are conscious of the fact that most people eating here will be having business lunches. The salmon main course was huge though.

   Excellent casual dining experience at Giovanni's! Had the gamberoni starter followed by the seafood pasta. The pasta was carefully prepared and delicious. The wine list was impressive. Above all the service was warm and professional and the staff and managers had a great energy. Give this place a try!

   Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. It was very quiet but it was a Monday. Will definitely return.

   Advocado in starter was under-ripe. Food otherwise was very good, as was the service. A nice, cosy location with good professional staff.

   Went here with friends for a catch up. We felt very welcome by the staff. Cannot fault the service which was fast, friendly, knowledgable and fun. The food was excellent, go with the staff recommendation I was glad I did. The sausage rigatoni was lovely. All enjoyed their meals, food very tasty. Deserts lovely. Drinks a good price too. With a shared starter and each a main and desert and a couple alcoholic drinks each (some doubles) it was about £34each which seemed a bargain! We often meet up in various restaurants and have had bills double that before. Was a lovely dining experience. Recommended and will go back. The food and service was excellent and it was popular with other diners

   Moderate starter, quantity less than other Italian restaurants visited. Poor quality pizza: burnt - pizza is not the most difficult dish to cook- and small quantity of topping. Failed to bring wine with main course, in spite of there being more staff than customers!

    This was one of my best lunches. The staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy. The food was very tasty and actually filling (without being stodgy), the wine and coffee were excellent . And everything came at, I think, a reasonable price.
