   I have eaten at Gioia several times and made a reservation for the first seating this Easter Sunday. TBH it was a mistake. Maybe because it was a holiday?! Walked in 5 minutes before reservation and was told that we were not able to be seated. Went outside and proceeded to watch our future waitress dress from her car! She was The Only waitress working and depended on the other staff to pick up the slack. So-needless to say-service was a little off. Food was a little off as well. I truly enjoy eating here the food is fantastic but not during this visit. Overcooked lasagna-cold chicken cutlet… Hopefully, next time I will feel differently 🙏🏻

   We loved the new spring menu and the Sunset special. Our servers, especially Barry(?) were all great, too.

   Very charming Italian restaurant. Good for couples or groups of four. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall was a very pleasant evening. I would definitely recommend it!

   Great food and service! Appetizers were creative and unique. Main course dishes were simply delicious.

   A very special place in oyster bay! Just moved to the area from the city. Let me say this place is up there with the finest of places in Manhattan. Great food, amazing service, ambiance was just right. From the door opening we were welcomed by the Maitre D. My personal recommendation , grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are top notch, very attentive and make the best drinks. Adonai made phenomenal recommendations in both food and wine. Niko has taken care of us in the past as well, with outstanding attention. Great atmosphere , staff was extremely courteous. 5 star treatment!

   As always, this restaurant does not disappoint. We have been here many times and always look forward to returning. The food and service were impeccable. My husband had the chicken cutlet which was cooked to perfection, and I had pasta with squash and apple which was delicious. Our server was amazing and very helpful in determining our likes and dislikes. She provided outstanding customer service! The manager was very helpful in straightening out some confusion we had with a balance on our gift card. He rectified this in minutes which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we had an amazing experience and look forward to returning.

   We always have a great time at GIOIA. When we can, we sit at the bar and have a nice cocktail and dinner. The food and the service are always top notch. The fresh pasta made daily along with the other great menu selections are very good. Everything on the menu is worth trying!

   Gioia is a singular restaurant in Oyster Bay. What is special? Pasta made fresh daily or is it hourly, with care. Candle sconces lit individually along the walls. Waiters in white jackets evocative of another time. Care in taking your order. Lest we forget.... the food -- inspired, not your usual. Do give it a glorious try!

    We had veggie lasagna and bolognese gnocchi. Outstanding. Service a bit chaotic as waiter was running around trying to do his job with too many tables.
