How can you charge $30 for 5 pieces of pasta?! We ate all around New York this restaraunt had the smallest portions!!

Excellent Italian Bistro on Bowery Street. Very crowded on a Friday night, reservations a must. Good wine list by the Glass and Bottle. An enthusiastic but a pretty loud crowd of patrons! A fun dinner out!

We had a private dinner for 20 on Sunday, June 11. Mike Hill was a thoughtful planner and Angelo and Vincent were a dream team on service and wine, respectively. Everyone loved it and all commented on fabulous service and food. We had three kinds of pasta served family style with verde salad and fritto misto to start. It was wonderful! And the room is beautiful

Great place good food and nice drinks. After dinner we went to the hotel bar which is is one of a kind super nice and cozy

Service was extremely slow. After our food came it was over an hour before anyone came to check on us.

We dine at Gemma several times a month — mostly for brunch. It’s brunch, so although the spot is well past it’s prime, the food is not bad and generally the service is very good — so I generally won’t grumble about the inflated prices. Today, however, service was strictly amateur hour. Don’t give me a 17-year old who knows nothing about service and charge me fine dining prices. A holiday weekend is not an excuse. What a disappointment.

sat inside on a gorgeous evening so it would be a little quieter - the ambience inside is gorgeous!! Great food, I think portion sizes were perfect, prices a little high but felt worth it. Excellent wine list with super reasonable options. Solid friendly service
