Gaylords now rebranded as The Plantation House by Gaylords offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Located in the historic Kilohana Plantation home, diners are seated around an open-air courtyard with views of the plantation grounds and Mt. Waialeale in the distance. Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen. Our 67-acre sustainable farm provides much of the produce and herbs used in our dishes and cocktails. Menu items include starters like fresh Ahi poke, fried brie, fresh seafood, delicious steaks and vegan entrees too. Don't forget about our famous Banana Cream Pie for dessert! Take a walk around the Kilohana grounds, shop in our assorted boutiques, visit the Koloa Rum shop, go on a rum safari adventure or take a ride on the plantation train.

    We had requested a seat in the gazebo, but were told when we arrived that they weren’t busy enough to open it. So we were seated by a party of 12, with kids. Not great for a romantic dinner. Then we ordered the chefs speciality, fish Oscar. Given it was his specialty, I was surprised that the hollandaise was broken. And there was a TON of it.

    Had a great business lunch at Gaylords. Our server Chanee was outstanding! Everyone enjoyed their food, The fried Brie is A MUST!!!

    All of our three meals were incredible. The chef really knows how to make complementary sauces for the food. I had the monchong fish and it was amazing.

    Amazing setting. Very quiet and peaceful. Make sure to have a mai tai in the lovely bar before dinner. Food was excellent!

    We come here on each visit to Kauai. The food is excellent, and the Pineapple/Lemon Martini was by far the BEST "tropical" drink we've had anywhere!! The ambience is very laid back, with lots of open space in the rear of the property. The seating area itself was well spaced, with a feeling of privacy at each table. And we LOVED our waitress. Very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone...be sure to book at least 2-3 days in advance, they sell out the best times very quickly.

    We had a wonderful lunch while visiting Kauai. Jason, our server, made several excellent recommendations. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom and it was delicious. Items ordered by our group: Crab & Shrimp Coconut Curry, Fish Tacos, Ahi Crudo, Shrimp Scampi, Parmesan Truffle Fries, and Fish & Chips. The table also enjoyed two desserts: Goat Cheesecake, and Banana Cream Pie. The ambiance was nice, with the lush vegetation flowing in the breeze and the gardens visible in the distance.
