   Our host was so welcoming and kind, teaching us about Armenian cuisine. The food was fabulous! Tender Pork Kebob, dumplings made with fresh pasta and lamb. The hummus, freshly baked pita and lavash were wonderful. At the end of the meal our host treated us to rose liqueur, pastry and rose marmalade.

   Anton served us and was a delight. We had rollitos de berenjena & qamats matsun to start, two salads, beet humus and then came massive qyabab’s. Highly recommended is the lamb with the picante salsa. Small restaurant space, but amazing food and drink selection (wines and liquor). A shot of vodka to finish off the meal was met with some skepticism, however, it must help with digestion because for overeating, we all felt great the next day. Do not hesitate to book, you’ll enjoy greatly.

   Proud to see how owners of restaurant work very hard each and every day making this place great. Very Happy to see that restaurant that also offers Armenian dishes takes it very serious representation of culture, dishes as well as experience one to feel welcomed and like home. Highly Recommend

   A small but cozy restaurant with special dishes never tasted before. In particular, the lamb kebab was tasteful, tender and juicy. The Armenian wine we ordered well exceeded our expectation. Service was excellent.

   My friends and I arrived to Madrid the morning of December 31st... we were aware that New Years Eve is a busy holiday everywhere, but we expected to be able to at least slip in at the bar somewhere for dinner. After walking around for about an hour we realized that we were very wrong, and with very spotty cell service we pulled up Open Table and Gayane’s was only about a mile away with a reservation available so we went for it. WHAT A FANTASTIC NIGHT! The food was amazing, the service was incredible, the vodka and Spanish wine flowed all night, accompanied the meal perfectly, and miraculously left no hangover! We were so pleased with our entire experience and left absolutely elated. This place will be in our memories for years to come and we will most certainly visit again when in Madrid. Thanks so much for ringing in 2020 for us!!

   An unexpected gem in the heart of Madrid! Small, intimate, cozy and authentic, this Armenian restaurant served up the most mouth watering delicacies unique to their country of origin. The husband/ wife team made us feel like we were guests in their home. A truly outstanding spot to savor delicious food and a cultural experience. Highly recommend!
