   Had dinner off of the happy hour menu. The octopus was absolutely fantastic, the sliders were solid. Jazz band was playing and the place was lively. Small menu but overall it was a cool Lounge for being in the lobby of a hotel.

   We had such delicious food and overall great service- drinks sometimes took a bit but we were a larger party ordering fancy cocktails, so not much of a surprise. Loved our time

   My sister and I ate at Gather & Hem pre-show at the National. Every dish we ate was absolutely delicious. The cocktails had super cute names & were very well constructed. The table service was welcoming, attentive & knowledgeable about menu items. The hostess that welcomed us to the restaurant was warm, welcoming& professional. The ambiance was busy but not excessively so. Gather & Hem is definitely a restaurant I will return to again. I loved that if you have your event tickets while eating there, you get a discount on your meal. I think that is so awesome!

   Five of us met at Gather & Hem for book club. Among us, there were several different dishes and drinks ordered, and we enjoyed them all. Multiple people were interested in the Virginia Ham Gougeres but were disappointed to learn the restaurant was out of the dish (even though we arrived as the restaurant was opening). I had the Mediterranean Spanish Rock Octopus, and it was grilled to perfection and a generous portion.

   Hey Amy. Thank you for taking the time and leaving us a review. I am so sorry we were unable to deliver on the Ham Gougères, I have followed up with our Chef. I am so glad you enjoyed the Octopus it is one of my favorite dishes on our menu. I really hope we can host book club again soon

   A really great vibey lounge! Drinks were awesome and creative, staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was unique and delicious! Looks like they're changing the menu soon - can't wait to come back and try it!

   Now on my 5th visit, and I’ve actually tried everything on the menu, well, except all the drinks (I’m working on it). The staff is so friendly I almost asked if they were hiring. Heard the menu’s changing soon, so looks like I’ll be starting fresh with round one all over again.
