   This is a great restaurant. The ambience and decor are both stylish and peaceful. The menu items all look inventive and delicious. We enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent, both friendly and prompt. It was easy to make a reservation online. We loved the view of the garden and walked out there after lunch. The garden is beautifully designed and maintained.

   The Garden Restaurant is spot on for lunch before a day at museums. Peaceful, good food and friendly service.

   The restaurant is convenient and the ambience and garden are very nice. Brunch menu was lacking and the self service buffet for salad or bagels and lox is just laziness on the part of the kitchen. The chicken sliders were nicely seasoned but extremely greasy. So it works for a museum restaurant but I have had better and they could be doing a lot better in terms of menu and food.

   First time visited the Garden Restaurant at The Barnes Foundation. it was for my nephew and myself. We both had a wonderful meal, enough food which was very tasty and the service was excellent. I am not a person who like to make recommendation to friends, but I would refer people visiting The Barnes to eat at the Garden Restaurant. In addition we were seated by the. window, had a wonderful view of the garden outside but were most comfortable in the air conditioned dining room. We also enjoyed seeing the open kitchen. And, once again, our server, Cory, was really great.

   Lunch at the Barnes made a pleasant day out with a friend even more pleasant! The food was wonderful, the service impeccable, and the entire experience delightful.
