   Serive was horrible. Took 30 mins in a line to order drinks and food. Thrn drinks took 30 mons to come tonight table and then food dribbled out between 30-45 mins after that. The bar man didn't know what southern comfort was and didn't know what glass to serve it in either. We asked for a half strength cocktail and the staff couldn't contemplate what that even meant, didn't make it and just said to us to drink half of it. Hmmmm maybe put half thr alcohol in, the rest of the ingredients and top up with lemonade or soda water? Music was crazy loud so couldn't talk to anyone. Over all experience was pretty poor

   Made a booking for 9 people. When we arrived we were informed there was no tables left although we arrived on time for our booking and then was informed "oh you didn't ring up for your booking we don't always do seats. We were shown to 2 standing tables for 9 people. It took up to 20 minutes to order a drink with atleast 10+ people lined up. Bar staff seemed unorganised and stressed. I ordered a drink from the cocktail menu the lady behind the bar looking at me vaugley and said give me a moment. She then disappeared for 10 mins only to arrive back stacking glasses then when I was asked by another worker behind the bar if I was okay I explained the situation he spoke to the lady and said it won't be long. She then disappeared again and I gave up on my order and just didn't get a drink. Would not rush back great concept horrible service.

   We were a big table of 14 persons, the staff had a lovely table for us prepared as per booking. Drinks were great and food was excellent. Everyone was very pleased. Thank you staff for a excellent experience. Maybe patrons can used a app from the table to order and pay for food without leaving the table, would be great idea like little creatures does!!

   We were so disappointed with the Gin Garden. It looked so fun on socials but in reality it was a few tables set up in a not in use function space. There was no vibe or ambiance and we were the only people in there. There was no garden feel or greenery and it was so quiet and awkward. The lady working behind the bar was friendly but effectively had nothing to do but watch our table for the 2.5hrs we were there. On a positive note the actual food and drinks were good but I would not recommend the venue.

We are very lucky being out over the bay with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water, we’ve taken on a very casual and relaxed feel to the seating but appreciate your comments as it never hurts to take another look through fresh eyes.    Cocktails were delicious! Food was amazing! Staff are so friendly and welcoming! The live music was a bonus! Very fun atmosphere can’t wait to come back!

   I really wanted to like the gin garden but it was really bad in the end. The staff were very young and inexperienced. I asked one girl about a drink and the food and she had absolutely no idea. The “garden“ is literally some plastic plants that are scattered about! The food wasn’t too bad at least and when you could actually get a drink they were quite good.

   Our waitress was amazing! She went out of her way to set up the karaoke for us and we had a wonderful afternoon! Drinks amazing! Chocolate Nachos are a must. Highly recommend!

   We didn’t eat food only went for some drinks. On first entering we were very underwhelmed by the the lack of “garden”for a place called the Gin garden. We ordered our cocktails (4) and then proceeded to watch the three bar staff talk to each other and take 20 minutes to make the cocktails while they only served one other person. I’ve never seen someone so unenthusiastically shake a cocktail shaker in my life. The man that then served them to us seemed very unhappy to be there also. On the plus the lovely young girl that seated us was awesome! Unfortunately won’t be going back or recommending.

   We are an indoor garden over the water, so maybe we’re being a little cheeky with no lawns or rose bushes. Perhaps we should call it an Ocean Garden, it just doesn’t roll off the tongue. We’ve gone for a casual, relaxed space that makes the most of our view so we don’t put anything in front of the windows. But if it’s more plants you want, that’s an easy fix, we have quite a few on rotation, just a shame you won't be there to see them. Have a great weekend, With thanks - The Gin Garden Team

   I decided to book the Gin Garden as it was my sister's 30th birthday and we wanted to have drinks and something delicious to eat before her party. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't an amazing one. Out of three drinks ordered, two cocktails had missing ingredients and had to be altered. The food came out cold, we tried the chips first and sent them back, as we tried all the food we discovered that it was all cold, the halloumi was rubber. We didn't have time to send it all back as we had appointments we needed to get to. There were only 5 tables in the venue yet we still had to get our own cutlery and side plates as we were sharing. In the end, the waitress apologised for the cold food and complimented us with a takeaway dessert. Hopefully, if we were to come again, the experience would be more pleasant.

    I think I had higher expectations of the venue and was a bit disappointed . It’s a great location and terrific views of the bay. The decor and set up was fairly ordinary and lacked any sort of ambiance. The cocktails were great and our dip platter was delicious.

Being out over the bay with floor to ceiling windows looking across to the You Yangs and beyond, It’s very rare for us not to have great ambience. We’ve taken on a very casual and relaxed feel to the seating but appreciate your comments as it never hurts to take another look through fresh eyes.
