   Currently Garbo’s only has patio dining open. Last night we had reservations and once we arrived the only tables open were not heated - well it was 42 degrees out. The designed is really flawed once you look at it - if they are only going to do patio only seating the moveable heaters should be set up on the tables not along the wall that get the wall heaters already. Well, 10 minutes into our stay I was really cold. One of the tables along the wall was done dining so we asked the waitress if we could move to that table. That particular table had a wall heater and a moveable heater! She was hesitant saying they had people with reservations coming. Um, we had reservations?! Explained that to her and she was like OH! So, it took a little to move not long but I could see many workers beginning to move the heaters around since the heat distribution was not equitable. A whole family of 8 was without any heat too for a long, long time. Yikes. The placement of the heaters were not clearly thought through. Their patio is not set up with proper cover to protect Freon the elements or keep warm - so just beware on a cold night! Then when we closed out our waitress said she accidentally gave our ticket to another table and it’s been paid for so we needed to pay for their ticket. WHAT?? Seriously? She said it was saving us $10. Got the ticket and no, no - it was a bit more. I mean - this makes the night even worse. So - that experience will ensure I might not give them a second chance. Food was great though - too bad.

   Great place to grab some casual seafood, their lobster roll is great, the lobster mac and cheese has a great portion but needs a bit more seasoning. Overall a great spot and we will definitely come back!

   Food was spot on, from the calamari to the lobster rolls. The cocktails were delicious, especially the Grog (not too sweet, which was nice). Great service, too!

   We enjoyed a very nice birthday dinner for my 86 year old mother, at one of her favorite Austin restaurants. Great lobster rolls, crispy French fries (yes an indulgence :-). They seated us at a quiet round table where we could all talk and enjoy each other. Very good service as well.

   The food was so good, truly a treat. The service was absolutely wonderful. We celebrated my friend’s birthday and took up table space for over three hours!! We were never rushed, had consistent service and attention and everyone was so warm and friendly. This place is a jewel.

    I love Garbos. Food is always amazing. Small, but thoughtful wine list. Great service. Its a go to restaurant for me.
