   Magnificent views in a beautiful setting but sadly average coffee, below average service and bland food.

   Wonderful setting being part of the art gallery but very disappointed with our meals, mine was actually cold and had to be returned to be heated up! We also felt a little rushed with our service.

   This restaurant needs to lift its game! The gallery is such a great place to visit but the cafe lets the whole experience down. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to be pleasant and serve simple, quality food in a restaurant. The service was appalling and some of our dishes were not up to standard. Serving frozen prawns in a hot dish is unpleasant and frankly dangerous.

   This is a beautiful spot. Food was of good quality and interesting. We love looking out over the Tweed Valley.

   On this occasion I felt that the meals variety was not up to your usual standard. The staff however were excellent.

   As there was no available outside seating for 3 in a shaded area, we opted for inside. A small sound device was pumping music of a nature and sound level inappropriate for a pleasurable dining experience, through speakers. Vocal pop music is fine in its place but that place is not in a beautiful art gallery setting with mostly older diners! When asked if she could please turn the music off, the very young wait person said no, she would turn it down and moved the device toward the table adjacent to ours. All 3 of us found the food rather bland and unimaginative. My fishcakes were mostly potato with a hint of fish. Our favourite Stone & Wood beer was not available.

   The food was lovely for each of us. The service was a bit off-hand. The drinking glasses were cloudy and I thought may not have been clean, but upon reflection I think it was just that they are aged. The setting is 5 star, the food is pretty 5 star and the furniture and service are much more casual.

   The best attentive staff. World class location and view. Great menu and wines. My favourite spot for GF scones, jam, cream and a big pot of tea with so much sunshine (even in Winter). The owners run this restaurant like a well oiled machine- yet with warmth and attention to detail. Georgia is a gem.
