Welcome to our Home, Gallagher’s Boxty House.

A family owned restaurant that celebrates Traditional Irish Cuisine and Culture with a Modern twist.

We were proudly making Boxty for the last 36 years in the heart of Dublin's Cultural quarters, Temple Bar.

The Boxty recipes date back to 17th-18th century Ireland. Award winning chef Padraic Óg Gallagher reimagined the dishes and confidently recreated these classics in a 21st century setting without forgetting our humble past.

                                                                        I was so delighted with lunch at Boxty. The food was lovely and a big shout out for the stout cake! It was sooooo light and delicious. I was only in Dublin for the day and messaged Boxty a couple of times to rearrange my booking. Each time their reply was prompt, friendly and professional. David was our server and did a brilliant job. I would definitely recommend and if I was in Dublin again I would head there.
