   This was one of the best restaurants that we have ever experienced! Unfortunately, they were closing for good the next night. The service was impeccable and the food was divine. This is a huge loss for Santa Fe in my opinion! Nate was our server. He was fantastic and can now be found at Coyote Cafe.

   Very disappointed in Galisteo Bistro. We went because it is their last week, and we have enjoyed the restaurant so much. However, the staff was not friendly. They seemed anxious to get us out. The owners never came over to our table to even say hello, although they were going around to other tables talking and checking that the orders were ok. Our Cesear salad was the worst ever- the romaine was brown on the edges. I don't care if you are leaving, let your customers leave with positive memories. We are really sorry that we went. We had many choices, but wanted to eat here one last time. I know this review will mean nothing because this restaurant is closing, but I felt it was important to share my thoughts.

   We actually ate at Galisteo Bistro twice, once on our anniversary, and a couple of days later just for dinner. We were in Santa Fe on vacation, and we picked Galisteo for our anniversary based on the reviews. The restaurant was excellent both times. On the first occasion, we decided to order several tapas: a shrimp with garlic sauce, a steak bruschetta and an artichoke latke. All were wonderful. We ordered light because we wanted to try the deserts. Again: excellent. In addition, our server made a great recommendation of a sparkling wine from New Mexico that made our anniversary festive. A few nights later, we went back for a dinner. We ordered a traditional Smacafam which my husband loved and a seafood pasta Romescu. Both were excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closing after this week because the owners want to retire. If you are in Santa Fe until Sunday June 25, 2017 go and enjoy a great meal. If not, find out where the chef is going and go there.

   My wife had the Hanger Steak and throughly enjoyed it's enticingly unique flavor. I on the other hand had the Shrimp/Crab cakes Casalinga which were like eating a breaded flavorless paste. Picked a nice Wine but they were out of it. Good service, nice atmosphere but will pass on eating here a third time.

   Went there for Father's Day with my husband and 3 kids. The staff seemed very annoyed that we had kids. There was only 2'other customers there one table also has a kid at the table, but they still seemed mad that any kids was there. Food was ok but the unwanted feeling made it very uncomfortable. The hostess was very rude

   The food was excellent! I had a steak and my partner had the chicken and both were great. For dessert, we shared a plate of "mud pie" which was wonderful. The overall environment of the restaurant was not very welcoming and the service was average. The food was good, but would not recommend based on anything else.

   We loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was soothing, the service was impeccable, every dish was delicious, and the presentation was elegant. I was very pleased with the selection of wines by the glass. Save room for dessert! All four of us ordered our own and then had a taste of each one - they were all worth every extra calorie!

   Food and service were good. We liked it better than cafe Pasquals which seemed pretentious and they rushed you. This place let us take our time and the waiter was nice. Most of the food in Sante Fe is expensive this wasn't an exception hence the value rating.
