                                                                                                                                                                              Went here with a group of work friends. We got there early and had some very bad drinks and apps in the crowded bar. The bartenders were not personable at all. There were couple tall tables in the bar area, but the bartenders let us know very clearly that we could not eat at those tables, we had to eat our apps squeezed into the bar, standing between seated patrons. When it came time for our reservation, two of our party were running late and they would not seat us until we were all there. The host (Zack) was unnecessarily rude and obnoxious about this. A few minutes later he let us know that at 15 minutes he would cancel our reservation if the other two hadn't arrived. We could not sit and order apps or drinks, we had to wait. There were many others in the same situation, and the waiting area was filled to overflowing. Working with another hostess, they agreed to seat us if we would order entrees for the missing guests immediately, and at 15 minutes after our reservation, they sat us. It got better from there. We were seated in a fairly open dining room (many tables were empty because of incomplete parties), and our server let us know (in a friendly manner) he would be a minute before he could get to us. When he got back to us, there was no pressure to order entrees for the late couple. Our server (Nick?) was helpful in explaining the drinks and dishes and gave good, objective feedback without the usual, "oh that's my favorite!" My food was very good, my chicken was tender and tasty, and the pasta was al dente with enough sauce. Others thought the fish and steak were mediocre to good, and everyone was very disappointed with the crab cakes (too much breading, too dry, etc.) The dessert menu was extensive and looked great, but the dinner portions were much too large to leave any room for dessert. Overall, the server, and to some extent the food, saved this from being a one star experience. Also note that parking is problematic here.
