   My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and had a great time! Everything from the cocktails to the dessert was delicious! We started with oysters, then had the steak and sablefish, both cooked perfectly, and ended our meal with the unique and comforting madrona roll. Service was attentive and the chef even came out to talk with all the diners. This was our first time at Friday Harbor and we're so glad we chose to dine here :)

   This was the first time we have visited since the remodel last summer. The food was excellent and creative. Certainly one of the best places to eat on San Juan Island.

   Beautiful view of the marina whether for a date night or just to relax with a drink. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Small and cozy inside with some seasonal outdoor seating.

   The menu we received had little relation to their website and was extremely limited. For an 'upscale' price in a harbor town, the only fish option was a so-so salmon! We are locals and can think of several places we'd rather go. We won't be back.

   Terrible vegetarian option. Beware. I had a very upset stomach after eating here. Go to Mikes!!

   The food was fabulous! I specifically came for the lamb which was not on the menu. The owner had lamb cooked for me and it was very flavorful. Loved the ambiance.

   We had a reservation at the Friday Harbor House and arrived early to have a drink and listen to the Friday night concert taking place just below the outdoor informal dining area. We were warmly welcomed and when a table cleared outside, we were seated. It was a lovely evening and the staff was great. We had a drink, listened to the music from the harbor side park, and took in the beautiful view. The manager said he would get us in as soon as a table cleared. 45 minutes past, and the time of our reservation was approaching. The waiter and manager both said that, although things were slow, it shouldn't be long. The time of our reservation came and went. Now the sun had set and it was getting cold outside. Another 30 minutes passed and still no table. We asked repeatedly why we had no table, but all they could say was that they did not know when a table would open up. It was now an hour past our reservation time and there were no tables close to finishing. The manager offered us a drink on the house but we were freezing and starving. So we left. What a disappointment! It's just not acceptable to keep promising a table "very soon" and then still not have one an hour after the time of our reservation. I have no idea how the food was. I suspect it was very good. But we will never know.

   Very good food, excellent service. Started at an outside table, but they allowed us to move inside once the sun went down and it cooled off.

    Pretty dining room with a view and outdoor seating. The duck fat fries were great and the salads were wonderful. Both orders of fried chicken had a piece of undercooked thigh. The ribeye had a good flavor and was nicely cooked. The vegetables served with the main courses were very fresh and tasty. The desserts were unusual and fun.
