   Apparently Free Times does not do reservations through OpenTable any more. Luckily we were there early enough to secure seating. Best to call the restaurant directly.

   Went for Winterlicious, and made the unfortunate mistake of selecting the entree and dessert with a ton of cinnamon sprinkled on top. The food just didn’t feel like a great experience on my end, my friend selected the falafel platter and bread pudding, which was actually quite good! But my honey cake was dry and the cinnamon was so much that it was really off putting.

   Open mic night was amazing. Kind and open atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone.

   Didn't get our requested area of the restaurant. But they did save our reservation when I called them because of a delay in arriving due to construction.

   After having booked a reservation on OpenTable.ca, we were ambushed, by who I assume was the owner, when we arrived to tell us that we should not have used OpenTable because the restaurant gets charged $2.00 for every reservation booked that way. A pretty unpleasant way to start a meal…. The food was not good enough to consider returning, in view of the reception that we received when we arrived.

   Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year is always a lot of work; everyone this year is playing catch up. We decided to share the joy by heading out for this special night. This lovely spot offered not only the traditional meal but Entertainment. There was no work, no setup, cooking, clean-up, just Love & fun. Judy, the wonderful owner offered a lovely dinner; some of the offerings were gefileta fish, chopped liver, matza ball soup, brisket, and chicken. There were also latkas, salads, and deserts, Icecream with Halva or Honey cake. All the food was wonderful and cooked with love. The Comedy shows were lots of fun and kept everyone laughing. All in All a great evening was had by all.

   We have been to the Free Times on many occasions. The food is never overly fancy, but always very good in both taste and presentation. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is no delay, but you never feel rushed. And often some very good live music to boot.

   went for summerlicious. food tasted great and was very affordable for a 3-course meal. there was a comedy show at the restaurant after the meal too

    We booked for a family with kids and also grandma. The range of the menu allowed for everyone to find dishes to their liking. Kids loved the nachos. Parents loved the drinks menu and the friendly, warm, and attentive welcoming service. This is a great casual spot with an interesting, eclectic ambiance and a relaxed vibe. We hope to be back to check out the live music offerings!
