Great place for a friends' lunch or dinner with spouse. Friendly, helpful staff too. Beet salad and caesar are my favs for lunch. The shnitzel looks tasty too!

Love this place. Service is perfect, food is lovely. Thank you David for your service and friendship... We call it our Country Club. Always feel welcomed. You get to relax the moment you enter. Wether you wish to relax at the bar or have a great evening with friends in the dining room, the culinary experience is always excellent and consistent. We really enjoy dining there.

Waiter must have been fairly new as he seemed slow and awkward in his approach to customers. Example used the same phrase over and over "Is there any thing I can bring you". Yes, like water, like bread, like the check.

I was looking for something different in San Antonio away from the touristy area along the River Walk. I found a gem. Sure, it is in a strip mall, but once you get inside, you forget that there are all the usual retail suspects right outside the door. Fantastic food - really, one of the best meals I have ever had in my many years of visiting San Antonio. If I lived within an hour of Frederick's, I would eat there at least once a month. Run, don't walk, to get there.
