We organized a prix fixe menu for a group special occasion and the team was outstanding in promising and then over-delivering, even adding special menu items for our vegan guest. Everyone left full and happy, and they even took care of our toddlers food needs. We love this place.

Pizza was tasty but I was surprised that there were no mushrooms on the menu. I thought mushrooms were a main item to put on pizza.

Simple, satisfying food (with some dashes of gastronomic creativity). Terrific beers. Good service.

Appetizers were good, nothing jumped out except for the beet salad. Franny's knows how to make an amazing and flavorful beer salad. I had the baked paccheri and it satisfied. The cacio e pepe was too light.

Nice family Park Slope-y atmosphere. I felt a bit rushed and slightly pressured to buy an extra drink. They have a line waiting so I can see that they are trying to move things along quickly, a problem that is hard to solve. Other than that, it's bright and cheery, and the food is good, priced on the higher end.

The thing about this restaurant is their understanding of flavors. They obviously think about ingredients and taste their food before putting it on the menu . Great place!

A group of seven of us gathered to celebrate my birthday. The chefs created a menu for us so we didn't have to order anything except cocktails. Luca, the sommelier, pre-selected delicious wines to complement each course. Everything was artfully prepared and the service wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday celebration!

The pizza is LEGIT. But everything was great. We had a three different pizzas, one pasta, some salads and two desserts plus some cocktails. Was a terrific meal! Would definitely go back.

This has been a neighborhood mainstay for many years but this was our first time. It was very crowded when we showed up at the time of our reservation (7:30 Saturday night). They were expecting us and sat us promptly. The staff is friendly and attentive. We were surprised that the menu's entrees were mostly limited to pizza and a few pastas and polentas. The beet and roasted carrot salads are really a step from the ordinary. The pizza is good but the menu is set so no adding or subtracting of the toppings.

We've been to Franny's >50 times and it's sadly starting to slide. The food is excellent but the service wasn't great. We waited >25 minutes between appetizers and pizza. Also the value at Franny's is starting to slide. Portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller while their prices remain on the high end. Also...get some new martini glasses. Those sad little mini-glasses are...sad. One last thought and it's the most important one: Franny's has lost its warmth. It is a well-oiled machine at this point. They're optimized to quickly turn over tables to meet the demand but it is a not a friendly place. We can't count how many times we've been there and nobody ever comes over to ask us if we're enjoying our meal. Nobody knows who we are. The wait staff turns over constantly. It's one of our favorite restaurants because the food is exceptional (and not just the pizza). But the overall value and dining experience leave a lot to be desired.
