   Dreadful we had a booking and left waiting one hour to be served. We booked 2pm and we would have walked out at 3 pm if not served. Then they told us only one chef in the kitchen he was seen kicking and throwing pots around the kitchen as I saw from the hatch. Close the kitchen if you cannot serve as expected. Then when I went to pay they cannot deduct from voucher.

   We have enjoyed lunch at Franks Place several times. This time four of us dined at 6pm and we were disappointed. We opted for the small plates/starters. Most of them were fine but the bruschetta was poor and €15 for 4 prawns was bad value. We will certainly return, at lunchtime.

   Absolutely gorgeous tapas restaurant. Staff were so lovely and very attentive. Food was absolutely beautiful. We will be back!

   Great variety of tapas plates and each one a triumph. Good value too and a great atmosphere. Recommended.

   Gorgeous food and wine. Portion sizes for tapas were generous and everyone was extremely happy with what they ordered. We will definitely be back. It’s the perfect spot for a night out or Christmas party.

   Had an enjoyable solo lunch here a couple of weeks ago and decided to return with a friend. Booked a table to be sure on a busy festival Saturday. Arrived and it was a full five minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence and seated me. Food was disappointing compared to previous visit. In particular a seafood chowder that was short on seafood and long on flour or some other thickening agent. Again when we went to pay the bill it took an age before anyone paid attention to us. Despite the fact that in both cases, we were standing right by the cash register.

   We enjoyed a great pre- concert supper at Frank’s place, with a great range of tapas, friendly and efficient service.

    Lovely tapas place with flavoursome food and delicious wine. Food has more room for punch but overall nice setting.
