   We've been coming to Frankie's for years, sometimes with long breaks for travel. I don't think we'd been there since last summer. It's always the same in the way a good friend, a comfortable chair, a certain smile is always the same. We sat at the bar, our favorite place, and were served by Tristan. We recognized each other, reintroduced ourselves. It was wonderful.

   Big fan of Frankies olive oil and their book , was delighted to visit on my anniversary. Everything was as i expected the vibe , the food the energy of the staff all where great, and to our surprise arriving to the restaurant a festival was going on. Anniversary was a success!!

   Frankie’s has been our go-to place for special occasions, including a wedding, birthdays, anniversaries and often for no other reason than we always have a great time and delicious food. I have the Frankie’s cookbook and regularly make their delicious meatballs for my family 😋

   A great meal at a truly great restaurant. In a city with hundreds of Italian restaurants Frankie’s is in the upper echelon. With a simple menu of classics done expertly and warm and friendly service you can’t go wrong. Start with a plate of fresh mozzarella and antipasto for sure and order at least one cavatelli with hot sausage - bring friends.

   A neighborhood restaurant with a small but outstanding menu of homemade pastas, soups, antipasto & excellent salads. Such a special place!

    I had high expectations, learning about this restaurant from researching olive oil. It was hard to believe that as a 57-year resident of NYC, I had never heard of Frankies Spuntino. My family and I were not disappointed. Our reserved table was ready right away and while every table was filled, it didn't seem crowded. We ordered the meatballs, a salad, and three pasta dishes for the three of us. It was perfect. Each dish was delicious in its own way. From the texture of the meatballs to the spicy kick of the sausage in the cavatelli and the unique taste of the boar pasta, each was a complete joy. We also ordered the bread and olive oil and the oil is just like they said... smooth with a nice bite and at the end turning smooth again. We'll definitely be back!
