   We arrived 10 minutes early for a 6:30pm reservation. They asked us to sit at the bar where they provided samples from their wine list while we wait. They sat us at 7:00 with no explanation. There were two large parties celebrating birthdays. OK, but what about the guests who made a reservation? Frankies does not cater to couples. They rely on the tourist crowds. Wine list was decent, but pricey. The food was not prepared by Italian chefs. If you are looking for authentic Italian food, go somewhere else.

   We discovered Frankie’s about a month while visiting from out of town – and it was so awesome we went again a few weeks ago when we were back. It was excellent for so many reasons – the food was great, the cocktails were sooo very good (fell in love with the Salted Caramel Espressotini), and the service made both visits wonderful. Nik, Dessa and Ana were exceptional in their customer service! Definitely going back here the next time we’re in the Bronx.

   Everything we had here was amazing! They start you with some small breads balls coated in Parmesan. We shared an Entree of Bolgnese with rigatoni pasta , which was cooked to perfection. And a Margherita pizza that was delicious. I will definitely return back. The hospitality was also great, the waitress was constantly checking up on us. Overall 10/10

   My girl and I had a great time at Frankie’s. We are looking to make this a spot for us that we can go to whenever. Food was great, service was great. Looking forward to starting a tradition there.

   We were a party of 4 adults and 4 kids and went for dinner after the NYBG Holiday Train Show. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed it and the ambiance and service was very good too. Highly recommend.

   Good menu and great food. If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy your meal in a an atmosphere that is less noisy than some of the other places on Arthur Ave., this is it.

   Entire experience was as unpleasant as the smell of the restaurant. Musty odor, waitress never smiled only smirked, food was acceptable. Disappointing.

    Found this gem because our granddaughter named Frankie came to her first Yankee game. Happened to be the World Series but anyway staying in Bronx and wanted great Italian. This was amazing. Every item from burratta to caprese, chicken parm and the best I’ve ever had alla tortufo mushroom pasta Then dessert tiramisu and cannolis. All homemade just delicious. Don’t miss it.
