   the food was really tasty and the 3 of us who met there really enjoyed it along with the cocktails. The person serving us was really attentive and fun - we had a lovely evening there.

   We were exited about our evening when we came in, the atmosphere was cool and the staff was friendly. The food had nice presentation as well. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a disappointment. The blackened chicken tacos which were cold and extremely salty. The Foxy John’s Burger was flavorless—ended up taking some of the chicken taco meat to punch it up, which helped. A couple of suggestions: Maybe take some of the seasoning away from the chicken and throw it on the burger? Double up the taco shells so that they don’t fall apart so easily and heat the metal rack for the tacos; to keep them warm rather than make them cold faster. We really wanted to enjoy the food because the atmosphere and staff seemed so cool.

   Made table reservations. Got there early and was able to sit at the bar by choice. They were not very busy and it was quiet which We enjoyed. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding!!

   Very energetic, but low key restaurant and bar. Decent value for NYC (everything is pricy in city). The food and drinks were great and my family loved the cool vibe and faux books on the wall. It's definitely not a quiet place to dine, but we enjoyed the liveliness and we didn't need to worry about the volume of our kids here. Overall, we were very happy with our experience! I'm so glad I found this place on OpenTable. (Also note, they had our table ready and waiting when we arrived for our reservation....no wait whatsoever, so that was a definite plus!).

   Foxy John's is mid-block between Lexington and Third Avenues in Midtown Manhattan, just a few blocks from Grand Central Terminal and 42nd Street subway station. Street parking is impossible during the week and challenging on the weekends but there are garages in the area. There is no street-level outdoor seating but a second level within including limited patio chairs and tables. The venue is long and somewhat narrow and the seated meal area is in the rear after passing through the bar area. There are flat screens throughout for viewing sports. The dining area was paneled like a library and the lighting was soft and dim. They were nice enough to seat me even though my other half hadn't showed up and I was able to order a salad and beer before her arrival. I then ordered a salmon wrap with fries; the wrap had more of the other items than the salmon but overall was tasty. Great to know Foxy is close by for after-work drinks!

   The service was absolutely horrible. It was 6 of us, we were given 2 drink menus and 2 food menus. When we asked for more, they gave one drink menu. Waitress didnt check in on us, brought our food and drinks and left.
