   had their steak for 4th or 5th time now. hmm.. after a year of visiting, the menu could be more diversified??.. but great place. recommend it!

   After being away for the winter we were dining with friends that live in the neighborhood. As they had never been to Four Cuts, and we had recommended it so highly, the pressure was on for us! After we were given an extremely warm welcome by Tony, we were seated immediately. Our beverage order was taken and we were served in a flash. The excellent service continued throughout our meal. Although we all enjoyed everything that we ordered-the lamb chops and chicken Milanese were the stars of the evening. The service was attentive without being overbearing and we appreciated how friendly, yet professional the waitstaff was. Our entire dinner, drinks through desert and espresso was great. We’re looking forward to returning soon.

   Being from NYC, we've frequented many great steakhouses and were curious how Four Cuts would compare. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by everyone and were immediately seated; we had a 6 pm reservation on a Saturday. Our server was Andrés and he was absolutely great; from the great service to his extensive knowledge of the menu. Andrés was extremely knowledgeable on each cut of steak and described each one of the specials with such detail, including how each was prepared and/or cooked, we had a difficult time choosing since each one sounded more delicious than the next. We decided to try the ceviche and it didn't disappoint! Not only was it one of the tastiest ceviches we've had, and we've sampled a lot, but the portion was more than we're used to receiving; it was extremely satisfying! For our entrées, we ordered the prime NY sirloin steak and the 12 oz. filet mignon topped with crab and bleu cheese. Not only were both steaks great cuts of meat and cooked to perfection but they were also juicy and very tasty! Thank you to Andrés for the great service from start to finish, along with the rest of the waitstaff, the chefs and everyone in the restaurant who made this a great experience for my boyfriend and I. We've walked by Four Cuts many times on our way home from work and we're so happy to find another great restaurant in our neighborhood that we can frequent after work or on the weekend, either for a romantic dinner for two or with friends and family.

   The food was phenomenal, and our server was quite friendly. However, and maybe because it was Valentine's Day, the service was extremely slow. It took over an hour for the appetizer to show up. I don't want to take anything away from the food though, because it was truly delicious.

   Four Cuts is a gem! We had the rib eye which was aged to perfection, loved the creamed spinach & their wedge salad - great blue cheese & bacon! I’d suggest highly going there - cannot wait to go back!

    The food was overall ok. The lobster bisque was weirdly seasoned and oily, and the side of fried potatoes had charred pieces of onions that made it very difficult to enjoy-as well as a distinct uncooked flour taste. The porterhouse-for-two was good, but considering the meal came out to nearly $200 and the steak was the only truly enjoyable part, we left disappointed. Additionally, the server would not give us a wine menu and instead recited it from memory without the prices. This turned us off immediately. Further, the place was absolutely dead. Normally I would understand as it was a Sunday evening, but we were the only diners in the dining room for the entirety of the meal from 7-8:15ish. Some people were at the bar, but the vibe made the dinner feel so insignificant that spending so much really was tough to swallow. I would be more forgiving if the ambiance was better, but as soon as we sat down we knew it was not going to be a lively, luxurious steak dinner. Save yourself the disappointment, and find another steakhouse in Manhattan.
