   The two ladies carving turkey & prime rib were unprofessional and obviously very unhappy to be there and because of that they made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The buffet was lacking a green vegetable as well as a second soup choice. The green salad, potato salad, ceviche and Monte Cristo casserole were all boring in taste. Bottom line... not enough value or quality for the money.

   Thanksgiving dinner with family. Great food, nice atmosphere. Great staff.

   Fort Hamilton Community Club offers a Thanksgiving buffet that is open to the community. It's a nice, local place to avoid traveling on the holiday. There is a variety of traditional Thanksgiving foods, cutting board service, dessert, and coffee stations. The food was good and the service was attentive.

   I really wish that Fort Hamilton's Community Club was not even available to the public via Open Table because it really is not easily-accessible to the public. After placing the reservation on Open Table for my parents' 30th anniversary (they had their wedding at the Fort 30 years ago), I was unable to call the restaurant (the phone that is available online does not even ring). When we arrived, we were told to check-in at the visitor center but it closed at 7 PM and our reservation was set for 7:30 PM; therefore we were unable to even get to the restaurant on the base. It was a truly upsetting experience and I hope that the Community Club is mindful and makes it known that check-in must occur before 7 PM even if a reservation is set for after 7 PM.

   We had an extra person in our party. Getting an extra chair and utensil set took longer than I would expect it to. We were taken to a table in the Washington room, with a dirty plate and water glasses that had lipstick on the rims. The room was overcrowded with the tables too close together. There were no plates available for the buffet for over five minutes. There was no sugar for coffee. There were no spoons anywhere for the chocolate mouse dessert. When asked for a spoon we were told there were none on that floor and they would have to walk too far to get them. I booked for mother’s day after hearing a friend rave about bottomless mimosas at the Easter brunch. There were no mimosas. When I asked about it I was told each adult would receive a glass of champagne if requested. I made my own mimosa, and one was not enough to get me through that lackluster mother’s day brunch.

   This was the perfect Easter brunch. There was a tremendous selection of hot, delicious food and drink, from the prime rib to the mimosas. The staff was available and very attentive. I would highly recommend any event that the Fort Hamilton Community Club hosts.

   We went for Sunday Champaign Brunch. It was a great brunch buffet with an omelet station and a seafood and carving station. Great views of the Fort from the historic Community Club setting. You will have to show ID to enter the Fort.

    everything was fine but one thing I noticed was the omelette station and carving station help did not smile and seemed like we were bothering them. It was uncomfortable to approach them to ask for a piece of meat or have an omelette made. Maybe ask them to not have a "face" on when customers approach. Thanks
