   Great option for a business lunch that is not too casual or formal. In addition to pasta and pizza, have great low-carb options too.

   It felt wonderful to be back to Forno 301. Due to social distancing, the ambience was really comfortable and the noise level was low. Service was wonderful. We enjoyed the appetizer but the calzone left something to be desired.

   Excellent al dente home made pasta, bruschetta with fig jam excellent. Waiter pushed the courses too quickly and pasta showed up while having our salad. Fortunately we were able to put it to the side and then enjoy it after the pasta but should not have felt rushed like that, or they should have spaced the courses.

   Perfect spot to eat before a show at Phoenix Theater, or Phoenix Art Museum. Easy walk to both. Authentic Italian, really good pizza. Beautiful salads, pasta too.

   I ate at Forno 301 on an evening in late April when the outside temperature was in the low 70's. Our party of 4 chose to eat inside instead of eating at an outdoor table to enjoy pleasant conversation. The restaurant had all their doors open to provide fresh air but it also increased the street noise significantly. I have eaten at Forno's before and the noise level is normally quiet. I will definitely eat there again (when I can expect to doors to the outside to be closed) because everything else is perfect and I have given them 5 stars! While Forno's may be best known for their pizza, only 1 person in our party ordered pizza. The rest of us ordered their ravioli and cavatelli so we could share our plates with each other. Personally I love their buttery ravioli but others at our table thought it was too "rich" tasting. The cavatelli was enjoyed by everyone. We also shared mista salad at the beginning of our meal as well as a couple of dishes of tiramisu for dessert. Glasses of chianti was the libation of choice! Mangiare!

   We come here before and after Phoenix Theatre shows, and other times, and have never been disappointed. The service is always friendly and efficient. The food is excellent, and the ambiance is outstanding.
