Owned by Chef Allen Hess, FORC brings farm to table in the heart of Waimea. FORC showcases a farm to table aspect by bringing fresh harvests from Farmers, the Ocean and Ranchers. By changing our menu seasonally, we are able to get creative with what Hawai’i has to offer us. Local style brunch items like our FORC signature sandwich, brown butter banana pancakes and our housemade bacon. Hearty seasonal dinner dishes like our Big Island grass fed beef, whole roasted fish, and Chef’s Hawaiian Meal. There are vegetarian, paleo and gluten free options too. Indulge more with special menus like happy hour and holiday menus. Sip on our award winning cocktails or sit down and soak in the best dining atmosphere.

    Wonderful food, perfect service. I started with goat tacos Birria, which are three tacos in a crispy / sturdy shell, with ginger / shoyu dipping sauce which made it great. The taco held up well to the sauce, maintaining a satisfying crunch. Next had the lamb cutlets which were “tomahawk” (doubles), generous portions, grilled to perfection. Next time would have converted from the risotto (good but can get heavy) to a large dinner salad instead, which can be done. My eating companion had the Butterfish, to die for. We went for my birthday and to just celebrate being able to visit during wonderful weather and Merrie Monarch hula festivities.

    I had an incredible dining experience. The food was excellent across the board, and the ambiance of the place really set the mood—relaxed yet vibrant. The chef was truly on point, delivering dishes that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. One standout was the goat cheese tacos—absolutely amazing. The combination of creamy goat cheese, perfectly balanced spices, and fresh ingredients made it unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back!

    Such a great meal! So much flavor and freshness, it was easily the best meal we had on the island. Terrific cocktails (try the coffee-tini) at great prices and an overall welcoming vibe!

    we have eaten their twice on our vacation (maybe a third time) Dinner 1) we split a forc salad, it was fresh and delicious, my wife had the surf and turf (butter fish and short ribs) she loved it and I had the Portuguese chicken which was delicious and hearty, great flavors and I didn't need a knife, it fell off the bone. Dinner 2) same salad and my wife had the Butterfish with rice and carrots, nice big piece of fish, seasoned with miso, delicious and I had their version of Loco Moco, nice big steak with gravy, a perfectly cooked egg over scrumptious garlic fried rice, unreal meal and I am a big eater and it filled me up, also the Portuguese bread sweet and delish. Great service (we had the same server both nights, she was sweet and a very good server who knew the menu. The Chef actually came out to our table and asked how our food was. Excellent experience, We would recommend in a second. Excellent craft cocktails as well

    I was pleased to see butterfish in the menu and it did not disappoint! Had a fantastic coconut lavender martini that was surprising well balanced and would order again. Our server Jessica was great. Knew when to stop in and check in us and when to leave us to lick the plates clean (she doesn’t judge).

    Best food we had on the Big island! Loved the Mai Tai (only $10!), bread and coffee crusted NY steak. My husband got the miso butterfish and also loved it.

    We really enjoyed our dinner here. The bread, poke app, surf and turf and chocolate crème brûlée was absolutely excellent. We loved our meal and the service was great. I would absolutely recommend this resturant!
