   The chatlet part wasn't open or available so it was just the fondue menu at Diviera Drive restaurant which was a bit of a let down. We ordered the truffle fondue and salad and both were really great as was the service.

   we had been to the Chalet before, a really vibey, chill addition to the back of the restaurant, which transports you to the Swiss Alps. this visit, however, the chalet portion was not available as it was being used to store the gear for the band playing later that night. we were told about this change of venue whilst arriving, not at booking or any advance notice. the chalet was a majority of the reason we went! we were seated in the greenhouse section, another addition to the restaurant, next to a rather breezy door. Regardless, the food was great, bread was plentiful, and wasn't a horrible time. just wish we had a head's up that the chalet itself wasn't a storage room for the band. we'll be back, but I'll check that we get access to that sweet, sweet room next time!

   Had the white truffle fondue--was extremely bland. Would not recommend it. The chocolate fondue however was good. Overpriced for quality of the food. Ambiance is great. Service was good.

   Fondue is always great. And everything. But ai would have liked to Know the normal area for fondue, the chalet was closed before ai actually got there. It ruined my surprise to my friend :(

   The fondue is about 24 dollars a person. The pot is a decent size but the fondue constantly solidified even as we turned up the heat. Actual cheese is good given with foccacia and some vegetables, apples, and grapes. My boyfriend also ordered the meat plate but it was so salty he barely touched it. The apples, grapes, and pickles were good with the cheese along with the bread, but most of the vegetables like the carrots and celery were an unimpressive pairing. There is a nice outdoor area with heat lamps but sadly it is only for bar service. Indoors it was pretty cramped and loud, and tables were close enough to us that a child almost grabbed our candle off our table. There were quite a few children there so I assume it is good for families. Flowers on the table and quick service. If you come I'd recommend walking down to East River Park on the waterfront before 9 pm for great views of Manhattan.

   Fondue: no flavor, oddly creamy not cheesy Sides: ok, but have had much better Meat platter: expected cubed steaks, but got cured meats Ambiance: rundown, not at all Challet-like Service: extremely slow Overall: disappointed and will not be going back

   This was the perfect spot for a birthday party! Restaurant was super accommodating as the number of guests increased from two to ten. Everyone had a great time and the fondue(s) were delicious! The mulled wine was also yummy. Will definitely make a trip back before the popup disappears!

   This place was a total trip. Located in the back of an Italian restaurant in Williamsburg, Fondue Chalet really is a transportive, hilarious destination. The decor alone is worth the trip: vintage ski posters, skis, checkered tablecloths, vintage light fixtures... it's adorable. The second we walked in we were charmed. And the fondue was GREAT. Delicious, filling, super fun to eat with a group of friends as we drank progressively more wine. It was a perfect festive holiday meal in the weeks leading up to Christmas, but I'm sure it would be equally good now.
